Girls Against Boys will also play Sound On Sound Fest in Austin 11/5!Girls Against Boys is a band from Brooklyn that started as four people from Washington, DC, fully schooled in the art of noise from the Dischord punk rock scene. Barely surviving their move to the perils of destroyed, crack-addled 1990s New York City, they released their highly acclaimed Venus Luxure No. 1 Baby album through Chicago's Touch & Go Records in 1993. Their sound is a blend of Dischord punk rock, New York art noise, and Chicago pummelling. They toured incessantly the with the likes of the Jesus Lizard, Rage Against the Machine, Fugazi, Garbage, dEUS,and Placebo, and performed at major international music festivals such as Mt. Fuji Rock (Japan), Reading (UK), Lollapalooza (US), All Tomorrow's Parties (UK), Lowlands (Netherlands), Pukkelpop (Belgium), and many more.

After releasing Venus Luxure No. 1 Baby (1993), Cruise Yourself (1994), and House of GVSB (1996), all on Touch & Go, GVSB moved to Geffen Records and released the much-maligned Freak*on*ica (1998). In 2002 they recordedYou Can't Fight What You Can't See for Jade Tree Records. More recently, Epitonic put out The Ghost List (2013). 2016 marks the twentieth anniversary of the release of the seminal House of GVSB. The band members now live in Brooklyn, Dallas, and Vienna (Austria).

She & Him's eagerly awaited new album  Christmas Party  is out October 28th on Columbia Records. Christmas Party is the sixth album from the duo comprised of Zooey Deschanel and M. Ward, and is the follow up to their wildly popular A Very She And Him Christmas. Christmas Party features guest appearances by Jenny Lewis, The Chapin Sisters and Sonic Youth's Steve Shelley.

Christmas Party is replete with holiday favorites - including classics like Darlene Love and Phil Spector's "Marshmallow World," Bing Crosby's "Mele Kalikimaka" and Chuck Berry's "Run Run Rudolph." BRONCHO shared the video for "Señora Borealis," the latest from their new album Double Vanity, today. CLRVYNT premiered the clip, saying, "the lo-fi clip pairs the band's sneering Double Vanity highlight with grainy footage of sweat-slicked jazzercise models, gymnastics circles and, of course, the band themselves."

October 27, 2016 - (Los Angeles, CA) - Grouplove gave fans an immersive live performance of "Welcome To Your Life" using groundbreaking 3D-360 technology which allows fans to move through the room and watch the band's performance from the angle of their choosing. The video was filmed with Facebook's Surround 360 camera technology, which captured a fully spherical, high-resolution view of the moment.  The 3D-360 experience brings viewers as close as they can get to a live Grouplove performance without actually having tickets to a front-row seat. The innovative music video, which was premiered on Facebook on Friday, can be seen HERE. 
Grouplove released their critically acclaimed third album  Big Mess  last month via Canvasback Music/Atlantic Records. The album is available digitally HERE and physically HERE now. The album's lead single "Welcome To Your Life" just entered the Top 10 of the Modern Rock/Alternative Radio Chart at No. 9.  Upon its release this past June, the track was the No. 1 most added song at alternative radio for three consecutive weeks. Recorded in Los Angeles and Seattle with producers Captain Cuts (Grouplove's own Ryan Rabin) and Phil Ek (Fleet Foxes, Band of Horses, The Shins), Big Mess features the signature choruses and infectious hooks that first brought the Los Angeles quintet to prominence. No stranger to the worldwide festival circuit, Grouplove has made an album that showcases their richly narrated songs. 
To celebrate the release of Big Mess, Grouplove hosted a fan-generated music video contest through Genero.tv. The band is currently selecting its favorite submission for each track on the album and is rewarding $3,000 to each of the 11 winners. Having already chosen three winners, Grouplove will share the remaining eight selections once every two weeks starting today HERE. The Damned (Dave Vanian, Captain Sensible, Monty Oxymoron, Pinch, and Stu West) will be heading into the studio this winter to record a brand new album, their first since 2008's 'So, Who's Paranoid?', for release in 2017, with a pre-order link for the CD, colored vinyl, as well as exclusive merch (and experiences) available at PledgeMusic. The band have also confirmed a full North American tour, beginning April 6th in Los Angeles. Cited as one of the most influential punk groups of all time, The Damned contributed vastly to the gothic rock genre and influenced an entire generation of future hardcore punk bands such as Black Flag and Bad Brains, with their fast paced energetic playing style and attitude. Along with theSex Pistols and The Clash, they helped spearhead the punk movement in the UK. Now, four decades and ten albums later and still on the road, they continue to wave the flag for originality, stick two fingers up to mediocrity and celebrate a DIY punk ethos in the face of plastic entertainment and scripted reality. The band's hugely influential classic debut single, 'New Rose',celebrating its 40th anniversary this month, is being celebrated with a limited edition 7” anniversary release on November 4th via BMG.
