Courtney Barnett Shares "How To Boil An Egg"
COURTNEY BARNETTShares "How To Boil An Egg"
Track features on Milk! Records Split Singles Club
Available to download & stream from May 16thTypically infectious, barnstorming and deadpan "How To Boil An Egg" is a standalone brand new track from the critically lauded singer songwriter Courtney Barnett. It was recorded as a contribution to an exciting collaboration between two of Australia's leading independent labels, Milk! Records (the label which she founded with partner Jen Cloher) and Bedroom Suck.
How To Boil An Egg is the result of studio experimentations where Barnett played every instrument herself, and is a reworked version of one of the first songs she ever wrote. In her own words:
"I used to perform this song at all the open-mics when i was 21. It never got recorded, so for personal-posterity I updated it and made this version recently when I was bunkered up in the bush doin some demos for my next album. In tradition of the Milk! Records compilation releases, like "Pickles From The Jar" or "Three Packs A Day", i wanted to include a song of mine for Split Singles Club that was a tad left of album-centre. it's a songwriting experiment that doesn't really belong anywhere else."
Designed to offer a fascinating insight into the tight knit community of Australia's compulsive collaborators, this Singles Club union features hand-picked artists from the scene.
"How To Boil An Egg" will be available on digital and streaming services and as an exclusive physical release on Milk! Records and Bedroom Suck's Split Singles Club. There are still a limited number of vinyl subscriptions available at www.splitsingles.club

Delivering a blend of Richard Lloyd and Nile Rodgers on guitar, Gothic Tropic’s Della Peruti has won sponsorships with Fender, and leading pedal manufacturers, and works professionally as a touring and session player for Charli XCX, BØRNS, and more.“The LA-based singer still values the importance of an absolutely killer bass line pushed front and center, but on “Stronger” the production is cleaner and clearer, a song that’s fingerclicky cool, with a pinch of 60s shimmy and a pipette full of 80s power pop.” – Noisey

Pixies - Leg Three of 2017 North American Tour
PIXIES ANNOUNCE THIRD AND FINAL LEG
OF THE BAND'S 2017 NORTH AMERICAN TOUR
L-R: Paz Lenchantin, Black Francis, Joey Santiago, David LoveringPhoto credit: Travis Shinn
LOS ANGELES, CA - Tuesday, May 16, 2017 - With Leg One of Pixies' 2017 North American tour sold out, and the five-week Leg Two set to kick off on September 19, Pixies - Joey Santiago/guitar, Black Francis/guitar & vocals, David Lovering/ drums, and bassist Paz Lenchantin - announce the addition of a third and final American tour leg in support of the band's second post-reunion release, Head Carrier (pixiesmusic/Play It Again Sam). Leg three launches on November 30 with two shows in Portland, OR and will see the band making stops along the North American west coast. The Orwells will provide support for the first part of the tour with Whitney joining the band for the second part. More dates are expected, but those confirmed are listed below.
In Pixies' ongoing effort to thwart ticket scalping and put as many show tickets as possible into the hands of Pixies fans, there will be no pre-sales for this third leg. Tickets go on sale this Friday, May 19 at 10AM PT - log onto www.pixiesmusic.com for all purchasing info.
As with Legs One and Two, the Leg Three shows will feature a brand new stage set designed by the band's longtime production manager Simon Foster and lighting designer Myles Mangino. The design is simple and sleek and fashioned around special pods that are positioned behind the band, housing all of the lighting. Fans can expect a set list comprised of the classics and catalogue rarities as well as newer songs from Indie Cindy and the band's latest release, Head Carrier. As is the Pixies' norm, there will be no firm setlist for any of the shows. The band has rehearsed and is prepared to play nearly 90 songs from all points of their career, and what is played on any given night is determined mere seconds in advance. Either via hand signals or a live onstage mic that feeds only to the band members and lighting director Mangino, Black Francis calls out what the next song will be. On the nightly customization of the sets, Black Francis recently told Live Nation's Setlist.fm, "The best is when you can sense what the next song should be based on the atmosphere in the room. That's really, ultimately what we're going for, to read the room and to be able to make the right choice." Added drummer Lovering, "Not having a set list also it makes it exciting for us, an adventure."
Pixies launched the European leg of this 2016-17-18 global run last November, playing sold-out shows throughout the UK and wrapping up in Birmingham on December 8. Following the North American leg one that wraps up next week with four sold-out dates in New York, Pixies will head to Europe to play a series of major summer festivals.

Laetitia Sadier Has A New Video & US Tour Dates!
LAETITIA SADIER IN FLUX
FIND ME FINDING YOU IS OUT NOW!
WATCH
"THE WOMAN WITH THE INVISIBLE NECKLACE"
NOW!
Lush, ornate synthetic arrangements wash over with a sweltering and hushed finesse in Laetitia Sadier's brand new video for "The Woman With The Invisible Necklace"! The latest single from the just released Laetitia Sadier Source Ensemble album,
Find Me Finding You
, "The Woman With The Invisible Necklace" exemplifies Laetitia's knack for producing seemingly effortless melody coupled with swift, poignant lyrical themes that take aim at political and interpersonal ideologies. The video, directed by Olia Eichenbaum, presents visuals reminiscent of propagandist films from the 20th century, perhaps suggesting that we are all complacent while the world around us burns.
While we're obviously always prepping for the evermore realistic doomsday scenario, we also can't help but continue to dish out the good news, served to assuage the hint of piss and vinegar in your cereal -- first, Laetitia Sadiercontinues to roll through Europe on the extensive Find Me Finding You tour! And second, we're beyond stoked to announce the Find Me Finding You tour is coming to the North America! Get hip, right in the height of summerLaetitia and the Source Ensemble gang are criss-crossing the USA to cram as many jams into as many cities as possible in the span of about a month. Phantogram kicked their summer into high gear with two stellar back-to-back weekend performances at Coachella, and now the critically-acclaimed sonic duo have announced a new leg of summer tour dates across North America. The tour kicks off with a benefit show for the David Lynch Foundation on May 17th at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles, and will stop in cities across North America as well as major music festivals including Lollapalooza, Governors Ball, Sasquatch!, Firefly, Osheaga and more. This new leg of tour dates comes just after the band's previous run of sold-out shows in North America and Europe.
