The United States leg of St. Vincent’s ‘Fear The Future’ Tour begins tomorrow night at The Fillmore in Detroit, with the kick-off show available for live streaming on Twitter via Live Nation: http://bit.ly/2zy4ffu. The U.S. run comes on the heels of a string of European ‘Fear The Future’ Tour dates, which Noisey praised as “reconstructing the parameters of what a gig can be,” while dubbing Annie Clark “the best pop star we have.”

St. Vincent also appeared on The Ellen Degeneres Show this past Friday, where she performed ‘MASSEDUCTION’ standout “Los Ageless” with a troupe of Ace bandage-clad contemporary dancers. Watch the performance here: http://bit.ly/2i3dQS7

Last week St. Vincent added twelve dates to the U.S. tour, stretching the run into March 2018. Tickets for those new shows, as well as a just-announced second show in Austin set for February 23, are available here: http://ilovestvincent.com/#tour

The Ellen performance and return to the United States come on the heels of St. Vincent’s first-ever top ten debut on the Billboard 200 and the highest praise of her career:“A push toward making big-time pop deeper, and darker.” – THE NEW YORK TIMES

“At once epic and intimate, fusing the myth of the legend-like St. Vincent with what it means to be simply Annie Clark.” – BILLBOARD

“St. Vincent’s new album is brilliant…one of pop’s smartest, craftiest young artists…easily her best record yet.” – THE LOS ANGELES TIMES“A career summit. It’s her ‘Lemonade,’ her ‘OK Computer’” - NYLON

LOS ANGELES POLICE DEPARTMENT NOW HOLDING RESIDENCY AT THE BOOTLEG THEATER IN L.A.

LOS ANGELES POLICE DEPARTMENT NOW HOLDING RESIDENCY AT THE BOOTLEG THEATER IN L.A.LIVE VIDEO FOR “DRUGS” PREMIERES TODAYTonight in L.A., Los Angeles Police Department continues its month-long Monday residency at The Bootleg Theater. A lo-fi pop act helmed by singer/songwriter Ryan Pollie, Los Angeles Police Department released its self-titled sophomore album on Anti- Records earlier this year.Los Angeles Police Department began its residency at The Bootleg Theater last Monday night. The remaining residency dates are November 20 and November 27.Also today, Los Angeles Police Department shares the video for a live version of “Drugs” (a stripped-down, gently unsettling track featured on the recent album). Directed by L.A.-based filmmaker and photographer Dominic Charles Ferris, the video captures an acoustic backyard performance of “Drugs,” its intimate setting bringing a new level of warmth to the song.Watch the video for “Drugs” here:  https://youtu.be/bF1-bj34hzQ Released in April, Los Angeles Police Department was produced by Foxygen’s Jonathan Rado (Whitney, The Lemon Twigs) and mixed by Rob Schnapf (Beck, Elliott Smith, Foo Fighters). The Los Angeles Times praised the album for offering “striking, expertly crafted songs containing left-field bridges and curious diversions.” Meanwhile, Alternative Press noted that “Pollie’s fragile vocals float here atop arrangements that use synths and echoing drums to create an appealingly spacious setting.”The album follows Los Angeles Police Department’s 2014 full-length debut, also a self-titled effort. Acclaimed by The Fader, Impose, Stereogum, and Pitchfork, that album includes the bittersweet pop gem and breakout hit “She Came Through (Again).”

DREAM WIFE Share "Let's Make Out" Video via Noisey, Play LA Tonight + NYC Thursday

DREAM WIFE         SHARE  MUSIC VIDEO FOR "LET'S MAKE OUT" VIA NOISEY & PLAY DEBUT NYC/LA HEADLINE SHOWS THIS WEEK
Debut Album Dream Wife out January 26th, 2018
WLMOstill.jpg [VIDEO STILL]
"Dream Wife is a perfect example of what makes SXSW special, the discovery and excitement of seeing something real that has feeling and meat to it, and makes you grateful you were there to witness it." - NPR Music
"Punk rock trio Dream Wife make music that flips a middle finger to convention." - The FADER
"Dream Wife's most recent singles are two of the most urgent, empowering, and subversive rock jams of 2017" - Gorilla vs. Bear
"a well-oiled machine worthy of the Strokes but performed with the righteous indignation of Bikini Kill...snappy, punk-informed rock 'n' roll." - Stereogum
"why they rule: Astounding musical precision, addictive melodies, and plenty of heart." - Entertainment Weekly
"Dream Wife offer a soundtrack ripe for a punk Sofia Coppola movie soundtrack" - NYLON _ London-based and British/Icelandic born punk rock trio Dream Wife just announced their long-awaited self-titled debut album, and today they share a striking music video for the record’s first single. "Let's Make Out," the band's celebratory ode to femme sexuality and consent, was directed by Aidan Zamiri and sees the Wives hosting their very own prom. Grab your date and head to prom with Dream Wife over at Noisey now.
Dream Wife explains the video:
"'Let's Make Out' is a light-hearted celebration of sexuality. Women are and have a right to be sexual beings. The video is silly, hedonistic and really fun. There is no shame in sexuality, there is no shame in fun. But remember; consent is key.
"Proms are synonymous with coming of age, a necessary social before graduation. We threw an IRL prom at our recent London show to announce our album and the night ended with much of the cast from the video making out and dancing with us on stage. Prom in many ways represents us coming of age as a band and we're hoping to usher in this new era; dancing, making out, making things with our friends and flipping the script every step of the way."
Since forming in 2015 as a college art school project, Dream Wife - a name chosen as commentary on society's objectification of women - have become one of the foremost up-and-coming bands out of the U.K. They have garnered praise for their early releases and their ferocious live shows, which saw them sell out venues across U.K. and Europe, tour the U.S. with the Kills, and play festival stages all over the world. Now the band are gearing up to release  Dream Wife  on January 26th, 2018 via Lucky Number. Pre-order Dream Wife physically  here  or digitally  here .
Dream Wife made their triumphant stateside debut earlier this year, and will return to the U.S. this week. They play their debut headline show in LA tonight, and play their first-ever New York gig on Thursday. See below to find a show near you, and get your tickets  HERE .

Orchin Drop Single "Arrow's Song" via the Line of Best Fit

Orchin Drop Single "Arrow's Song" via the Line of Best Fit

STREAM: "Arrow's Song" -
Soundcloud // the Line of Best Fit

"a pastiche of This Mortal Coil style dream pop and classic shoegaze." - The Line of Best Fit (Aaron Powell)

About Orchin:
Orchin is an LA-based dark pop band and has been likened by press to DIIV, Pale Saints and Ultra Vivid Scene. Their sound is a hybrid of "shoegaze, Cocteau Twins-style dream-pop, and new wave" (The Fader). The band is led by frontman and songwriter Jeremy McLennan and includes Peyton Wilson on guitar, Nathan Castiel on bass and Griffin Kisner on drums.

Orchin arrived in June 2016 with double single “Dark/Wasting Time” and has been keeping busy since. Their follow up “One/If I Ever” premiered later in the summer, and the band’s self-titled debut EP, led by single “Ego Deathbed”, was released in March 2017. The band embarked on a monthlong US tour with Boston’s Model/Actriz in support of the record, with stops at venues such as Subterranean in Chicago, Alphaville in Brooklyn, and Middle East in Boston.

McLennan penned Orchin's latest single "Arrow's Song" in a stream of consciousness about his beloved dog, Arrow.
