Well written and an unusual story. There's not a real structured narrative. Although it does follow a story, it feels more like vignettes that are somewhat cohesive.

Lmao put down the thesaurus, author. The synonyms are fucking relentless. In the chase for a perfect sentence ye author forgot to make it enjoyable for a reader.

There are some really poignant discussions about depression and suicide. The insight into that

Unfortunately, this is yet another one of those books where the author completely ignores the universe.And yeah, more interesting plot points, and instead focuses on all these emotions and overflowing feelings.

I'm not finding the story to be super interesting yet. Although I do like the direction and premise.

This book is dripping with estrogen from every page. I think I just had my first period.

The book is very, very obviously written by a woman for a audience of women that enjoy romance between men. And I don't fault it too much, but that's seriously, doesn't jive? With what I like to read and what i'm in the mood to read right now.So I will not be continuing this book.

There is some parts of the plot in the second half.That i'm not crazy about. And it's not exactly the plot itself.It's more of the delivery. There's a sort of disjointed, fast forward style... and while I really don't enjoy when authors belabor points and go on and on for pages.. The beginning was just so so, but i'm really warming up to this story and enjoying it. And it totally feels like, yeah, old fantasy from like the eighties.

Just realize that this book has an incredibly small amount of non dialogue... that's pretty impressive for authors to do.I think.

I have no idea if these are the same characters as when I started this book.

This story definitely has some redeeming qualities... good, it's not all sex, like many of these books that have a gay mail lead.

And there's certainly some intriguing stories and sub plots.
