I'm not far in but I an definitely see why it's a fast paced book. The chapters are fairly short, easy to read and understand the font size is decent and it's an interesting power system when it comes to the main character. This is the first book is the shatter me series and it's 11 books including the novellas. So this is the time I read this series from start to finish at once

Isnit weird to say that I'm aware that the good aspects of this book and still not like it as much as I hoped for? The book is good it just feels repetitive when it comes to the idea of the trials and prison (specifically giving me An Ember in the Ashes saga vibes which I truly enjoyed). Probably because I finished it recently it felt like it was a copy with different spices. And pacing is so slow. I need action. Elp
