Good. Since this is a collection of short stories, I’m jumping in and out of this book between others. Reading this has shown me where some of the scenes in the Netflix story come from.

I’m rereading the series for what must be the hundredth time, but this time it is the illustrated edition. I cannot state enough how much I LOVE the illustrations. It adds such a cool feel to the story and makes it feel like a new experience. I highly recommend!

I have stalled out majorly on this one. I do plan on finishing it, but I’m not loving it at the moment. Edward is legit creeping and Bella has insta fallen in love so fast that it is concerning. I mean it was always a lil concerning, but without a peek into her internal dialogue it feels even faster... we are talking light speed, beam me up Scottie, the Flash, kinda fast lol

I loved the Twilight series when I was younger, but I’m not digging it as much from Edward’s point of view. This is probably because 1) team Jacob and 2) stalker much?

I have to stop reading for the night, but let it be known... I DON’T WANT TO STOP!!!! *sighs* adulting is hard... I should have stopped reading an hour ago, but I didn’t want to stop!

I’m putting all my other books on pause... because I NEED TO KNOW HOW THIS ENDS NOW!!!!! *Frantically begins reading*

Listening to the audiobook, almost done part 2. So far so good! A peculiar start!

The beginning almost lost me. I stuck with it and am totally invested now. It gets better and better.

A gruesome, yet solid start.

So far so good! I can’t wait to learn more about Signe. Our characters have already found trouble and I can see even more concerning troubles brewing in the not so distant future!

Listening to the audiobook (I think the voice actor is great, she puts lots of emotion and vocal variety into it). Some humorous moments that have put a smile on my face. Enjoying it and am almost done.

Enjoying this book! A solid read so far. I am a HUGE fan of horses and enjoy that they are a feature in this one. Main character has a cool power. I’m curious to see how the end of this book plays out.

Started reading, but I wasn’t really feeling comfortable with where it was going so it is a DNF for now. I will likely come back to it. Writing was good and not what gave me pause. Heard lots of good things about this book and it’s diversity, so def a thumbs up there.

I’m enjoying this book and it is scratching the itch I have for more Skyward!

So far this is the best in the series. Ahhh so worried this is going to end badly for the Earthborn! Love seeing the differences between book and show.

So far so good! I predicted this twist, but I’m still enjoying it. Now I’m curious about the details... the devil is in the details lol

The audiobook is quite good. I don’t normally like flash backs, but this doesn’t feel like that. I loved the way the chapters and the telling of the BBQ were handled in regards to chapter placement and timing throughout the book. Learning the details of the BBQ now and potential one last mystery answered!

I stalled out. I need to pick it back up! It isn’t that I don’t like it—I do. I think I’ll be finishing it over the summer though.

This month’s bookclub read!

I haven’t had much time to read this recently, so progress has been slow. This isn’t a reflection on the book, just my life!

Can we just talk about how I’m on page 276 and I’m only 22% through this mammoth of a book?! I’m LOVING this book so far. Things are moving and I reallly want to know if my guesses about how it is all fitting together are correct.

Really enjoying this book so far. We jump right into the story and I can’t wait to see how it all plays out!!! I know what I’ll be doing on my upcoming 8 hour plane ride lol
