I'll be the first to admit I know absolutely nothing about how music works. I simply know what I like but am completely ignorant as to specifically why I enjoy it. SO I am reading this to gain a better understanding of music or at least gain the knowledge to justify my tastes.

From a book about zombies to a book written by a man who literally looks like a zombie.

wow. I am not at all disappointed. this is one gleeful, wild ride through violence and perversion of the highest degrees and I adore it. Style heavily influenced by Return of the Living Dead? Check. Mr. T with a robot body murdering drug dealers? check. Neo Nazis trying to bring about the fifth reich? check. a girl graphically raping a zombie while eating the zombies brains? check. Merc-punks? Mech Dogs?it has it all

Jeez, that Sweet/Bitter girl is pretty. ANYWAY, so know that I am woke on why government should be abolished, I figure now I should try to be more level headed and see if there is anyway I can personally go about fixing it. Leave any helpful suggestions in the comments below.

this book (used) $1,156.48. that's $12 a page. If the power of levitation is not granted to me upon completion of this book I am going to be disappointed.

This is frustrating. I like the book, it has balls. I hope it rectifies some of the issues I have with it in these final chapters before I can endorse and recommend it.

This book has mystery, and not so much so far. The moment it starts to get intriguing or what seems like an answer to the characters motivation is being proffered, it is quickly drawn back within the shroud of mystery like I am being told to wait, the show isn't ready.

this is definitely not better than Star Wars. Therm Scissorpunch is much more of a bad ass than Kassad or even the Shrike. Plus, the in depth and politically deep prequels put this shitty effort to shame. As far as action goes, any ewok fight scene is more riveting and compelling than anything Simmons writes here. Hell, Avatar is better than this shit.

I knew there was no way to return to the genre hopping format of the first book organically, so I doubt there will be much in the way of the unexpected emotional impact the prior book held, but one could do worse than political intrigue, and I do want the mysteries cleared up. Plus, more Silenus is never a bad thing.

What I usually end of loving the most of pure comedy books like this are appreciating the belly laughs they give me, the quick read, and refreshing lack of scrutiny needed to enjoy it. Everything here is face value, including a lot of pictures. Definitely a welcomed break in the routine.

I think he would enjoy this book. It's very dry but not boring, and full of what seems to me very informed scientific speculation. But then again I really didn't do well in AP physics so I am a wrinkle free brainlet when it comes to that stuff.

This is my first experience reading Mr. Clarke and damn this is some hard sci-fi. Not a hint of fantasy this shit's real. Now if only I could live on Mars and be a polygamist...

So far this is a pop culture time capsule. Shapiro rips into the media on all fronts, denouncing their policy of tolerance for all and subjective morality. While I can't help but nod earnestly in agreement to many of Shapiro's points (Rap being garbage, persecution of the "intolerant") some of his more prudish diatribes against pop stars and whingeing about how much sex everyone is getting is a bit much.

Nothing but good weird fun here. Ain't no Earth shaking profundity to be had but a lot of belly laughs

Not disappointed so far, funny, weird and wild with appropriately pulpy twists and turns. Who doesn't want to read a short story about a man trying to sleep with every of age woman on Earth who fits his type?

am I slowly becoming addicted to self help books? some, if not most of the ideas in here are very corny but don't seem entirely without sincerity and utility.

well, that was unexpected. But then again it does justify giving Lily such a large narrative presence in the first part.
