7/17/21 listening on audio while doing projects around the house

Reading this “seasonally” by reading her chapters set in a given month in that actual month has been so inspiring! It makes me very thankful for the variety of fruits & veggies we have available in Ventura Co. Emily and I went Apricot Lane Farms today and bought avocados, lemons, peaches, zucchini, lettuce and strolled through a beautiful garden. Yesterday we picked blueberries at Underwood. Such bounty! Yum!

My re-read for 2020!

I think this is better than the first. Katie, did you read this? I felt the first ended so abruptly that I had to read the next.

Katie, you have to read this. It’s quite funny, and your editorial brain will greatly appreciate it.

Finally got the library ebook! Been waiting to read this!

I realized there are a lot of good books to read. And thus far, this is not honorable, pure or praiseworthy. I'll set my mind on other things.

You know you're a book nerd when you preorder the book and plan your reading schedule around its release date. And the best part is all 3 kids are just as excited as I!

Listening with my kids. Finished part 1 and they're hooked. Tough concepts for Emily but I'm thinking a lot will just go over her head.

Oh, I love this book! These kids are adorable and I love the family dynamics.

Listening to the audio book with my kids. One of my all-time favorite books of all time, as well as the whole series. Luke, my totally left-brained engineer-type child said, after one chapter, "I like the story and all, but I DO NOT like a book with such beautiful language." What am I gonna do about that?! Hopefully change his mind!

Setting this aside. Too many good books in the world. Maybe I'll come back to this with the kids

Reading to determine if my boys can read it. 1/3 through I've determined not yet, maybe age 12, but I'm hooked and plan to continue to listen to audio book.
