Grabs you from page 1. I could do with less of men “knowing” what the main character wants, though. Good use of a dog - I am a sucker to saving dogs.

Okay, I hate this book. I am protest reading so that I can finish and write a full review of how much I disliked this.

I just finished Redwood Bend (A Virgin River Novel Book 18) and gave it 3 stars.

Dear Sherryl Woods, please stop using the work "blasted." No one uses it, ever. Not even to describe rocket launching.

I am trusting the GoodReads recommendation -- they'd better not steer me wrong

I really like that I am getting the whole series all at once, but a side effect is seeing how poorly drawn the characters are.

I feel a geographical obligation to finish this book.

I can't stop reading. There is something so raw about Cath's anxiety and Wren's selfishness. I wish Rainbow Rowell would write everything.

Elgin!!!! Why, oh, why and with one of those gnats?!? I am emotionally overwrought.

Maybe I shouldn't re-read the entire series in rapid succession. I am starting to see plot redundancies, and feeling a bit chafed at some of the situations that Cat & Bones are finding themselves in.

This is a re-read, and I am not enjoying it. Feels like a cheap imitation of the Cat & Bones romance without any of the charm.

It's like reading a Wes Anderson movie - I just need to figure out who Bill Murray will play.

I have no idea what is going on. Really and truly.

Why do I hate Frank? I don't even know him. It feels wrong, but I don't want to be right.

I have read this one before, but I forgot how much I enjoy the writing, and how believable the characters seem even in the most unbelievable of circumstances.

Delightful prequel to The Mortal Instruments!

Found it on a shelf in my room at Mom's house. Super cute and heart warming, sometimes that's just what I need.

I found this book on a shelf in the B&B we were staying in on vacation. The cover drew me in, and the beautiful story-telling kept me hooked. A fabulous tale of female camaraderie and strength, well worth the read.

Something about the way Andrews writes makes it so easy to get stuck on her books. When listening to it, I find myself second guessing some word choice, but quickly forgiving those flaws.

I want Jillian to be more upset.

I will never be more than 12% done because I hate an unreliable narrator. There is nothing I like less than not trusting the information I read. I am sorry to all the Gillian Flynn fans out there, but her style is not my style.

I love Heather Wells! I think that I read the second book in this series a few years ago because it was on a bargain rack, but I will definitely be finding book 3 after this.

So I am not sure how it is that Vlad is both the most amazing man (vampire) ever and also the most vicious and repellent.

Oh so good! Molly and Jones are totally keeping me turning the pages when I should be going to bed.
