Can't get enough Diesel. I would like him to try harder though.

I can't seem to get into this one. Maybe it was all the internal struggle with Beckett on the show, but I can't read about her self destructing after seeing it on TV.

Can't stop reading this one...I laugh out loud through most of the pages.

I am glad I didn't read the reviews before starting this book, because I might have been put off by the depiction of Meg. She is too stupid, and the primary plot is too drawn out, but Sam and Alyssa and Eve and Ralph have made for a very enjoyable read.

I believe there is reference to pagers and fanny packs on the same page. Aside from the sweet 90s swag, the story makes me warm and fuzzy inside.

I am not loving this one. A little too much talk of guilt and sin for a sect book. Also, I feel like JD is trying too hard with the mystery.

I don't like the way they are turning Manny into a vampire.

So far, I love it. A quick read filled with familiar names and a child's enthusiasm for this nation's past time.

Apparently I am only going to read books about women dealing with their on a New England beach. It is this genre of women's lit that makes me feel both empowered and jealous.

Okay, I am not someone that reads real romance novels. I read paranormal romance and sexy books, but not generally the kind of books that just let a relationship unfold. I am finding this one kind of annoying. Scratch that - really annoying. I'll keep reading, because I'm not a quitter, but really? all the whining? all the misconceptions? There is definitely a reason I disliked dating - it's all in the book.

I just read the acknowledgements...and died laughing.

Beautiful...and very medical

Not in love with this one. I was really hoping for another Stephanie Plum-esqe series and I find myself annoyed with all of these characters.

I alternate between rolling on the floor laughing and being really grossed out. But, I do want the tattoo that says "Strident Feminist"

I think it might take longer than usual for me to read this one...I keep having to refer back to the map.

The intrigue is killing me.

Almost done listening to this one. I think there is going to be some kind of hilarious hijinx and complicated twist, and I can't wait!

I keep reading, unable to decide if I like this book or not. Why would you name a child Nonny? Why would you start a southern war with the town thugs? I don't know if this one is believable enough for me.

This book has been slow going for me because I often have to stop and look up a character to see if they are a historical person or if they are a work of fiction. It is arduous, but I feel smarter for it.

This audiobook has the greatest reader ever! He has this perfectly deep voice, and changes it for each character. It really make the story come alive when you're listening. The story itself is very funny with great characters. I look forward to the ending.

As with most dystopian novels, I am struggling with the idea that we as a people wipe ourselves out. Not that it's impossible, I just like to think better of us.

Cute story, well written if not a little melodramatic.
