"Darkrose and Diamond" was... interesting. I wasn't really sure I liked the characters, but I like that it was set in the world but about characters mostly unconnected to the main series.

This is such a long story but it's also very interesting. Ursula just knows how to write such fascinating fantasy

I know the reader is supposed to know what’s up before the characters but how does she not even have a wild, one off suspicion that Sebastian IS the guy? Come on.

This is the most excitement this book has had so far

This is very different than the movie (same concept, different events/plot points), but I'm not mad because it's so darn cute.

the first person narration threw me off. But I kind of love that Megan doesn't stick one traditional narration type for the series.

But juggling is not an act of holding tight. It's an act of letting go--of giving the people you love the time and space to find their own orbit. And it's an act of catching.

I am so much more invested than I expected. I never know with audiobooks if I’ll be able to track a story or if I’ll get laid, but these narrators are great and this story is intriguing.

this isn't at all what I expected from an adult Maggie Stiefvater book, but I'm not mad either.

Technically listening to the audiobook because that was what was available digitally, but Goodreads doesn't have an audiobook as an option, of course.

…most people were bad listeners: they thought listening was synonymous with hearing. But the spoke was only half a conversation. True needs, wants, fears, and hopes hid not in the words they said, but in the ones that weren’t, and all of these formed the core of luxury.

I could probably stop reading this and not care if I ever finish 😬
