I decided to reread Being Mary Bennet before continuing this because I thought I missed something from the first book and then realized way too early on in BMB that nope I did not but you know what? I’m not mad bc BMB is a delight and I hope this one is just as fun.

Every person is the main character in their own story, even the women stuffed in attics.

I appreciate Sabaa so much for including characters that aren't necessarily ready for sex and also don't know if they want to for religious reasons.

I will never get over that 40-something year old Tyler Jones. What a wild ride this book is.

Rereading for a book club!

Yesssss I love Will! And does this mean we’re getting Georgia too??! Will she and Lola become friends or something along their lines?

Are you telling me that paleontologists don’t realize that what people referred to as dragons were probably actually something akin to what we call dinosaurs today? The word dinosaur wasn’t invented until the 1800s yet there are dragons myths around the world hundreds of years before the first “dinosaur” fossil was found. This book is so dumb. It makes me feel like my IQ is lowering.

Why is this YA and not adult? Why is there no indication when the chapter switched to a different first person POV? Why is everything so miraculous and remarkable and convenient for the plot?

Decided to revisit Winter via audiobook and the narrator does not disappoint (love how she does Winter's voice!) My only complaint is Audible doesn't use percentages to show how far you've listened so I don't know how I'll be able to do updates... (only using Audible's free trial for this because it's the ONLY way I could find to listen)
