And every time I read the name Flick, you're kidding yourself if I'm not imagining a kid with an aviator cap and glasses getting triple dog dared on a playground at Christmas time.

Also, I think this heroine sucks. Maybe that's my issue here

A book that has lived on my TBR for a long time, and Angry just gave me the shove I needed to start (I'm still scared. I'm FRAGILE)...and I just read for an hour and realized I am not living in the theater with the characters.

Side note: David seems a little bit like a huge asshole.

This narrative style is a bit grating

I love this story and its angst, maybe the best so far...but ugh, I think I hate the sex scenes. It makes me feel so...awkward.

For being, like, a favorite couple, this book and the prior come dangerously close to hurling then across the "enough about you" divide
