Eelyn’s complaints about being cold are very relatable for me, as I too am trying to survive an arctic winter and am woefully underdressed

Do y’all ever have that thing where the Goodreads app shuts down when you hit read more and you’re left wondering if it’s just overload on the app or whether you’ve been blocked and you’re frantically trying to remember how you know this person and what you said that offended them

It is unfair that people who don't care about a book and have never heard of it get free copies b/c they have followers

while those of us who are small and weak but love the book

are ineligible

despite our love for it

I signed up for vampire hunting and that is NOT what I am getting.

Predictions: she and Fiske fall in love, Iri either turns out bad or dies to save her, she takes down the bad government or unites the clans, Myra or whatever her name is leads a charge to save her, and all of this happens with 0 emotion on Eelyn’s part whatsoever.

My sister is reading one of my favorite series for the first time, and I think I’ve scared her with the amount of screaming and carrying on I’ve been doing. But, like, I forgot how much I loved these books! Also, she’s not a bookworm, so...SHES HAPPY AND I LOVE IT.

I actually haven’t really started this one yet, but I’m putting it on hold until I go on vacation so that I can focus on some paper books rn :P
