When a character you weren’t necessarily crazy about in your story is suddenly your readers’ favorite and now WHOOPS SAID CHARACTER HAS A HUGE ROLE AND NEEDS MORE SCREEN TIME IN THE SEQUEL WHY DID THIS HAPPEN

I think people who call these books idyllic and unrealistic have never read them.

Yes, they’re warm and cozy and sweet and homey, but they’re also so insanely real and emotional and are full of real people dealing with real life while seeking God through it all.

I needed this so much right now.

I finished editing a first draft all the way through! For the first time ever!!!!
