This book is hilarious! The POV of an older woman residing in an upscale retirement village is pitch perfect.

This book is a fun read, but I am a little confused with the time frame in some of the scenes. I think a better editor would be a big help to Hillerman.

As with her earlier efforts, this book starts off with a bang.

The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich really brings home how long Hitler was in power before the rest of the world saw the threat posed by Nazi Germany. I am on page 600 of the book (over one-third of the way through the book) and the attack on Poland JUST happened! Shirer has done an amazing job of both research and presentation.
