Amelia and the reader are still being introduced to the secret society. Nothing is happening!!

Getiing bored, still monotone, still lack of action... fighting need to skim.

There's something missing... like in one scene we are introduced to a character then a few chapters later there friends. We don't get to see the development of the realationsip or any evidence that the person is important. I assumed it was a passing character.

Pretty good so far, mostly relationship/world building.

Still a good story but its losing my and stars with the nothing of major significance or action happening. Maybe now tgat they have had sex it will speed up. I'm tempted to rate 3 stars.

Started skimming, so boring no movement.

Really good but there is an excess of useless chapters in the middle. The story could be more compact, reduce chapters as nothing really happens in them and they are mundane and boring.

Slowing down. I eould like more of the witch aspect of the story or for the romance to get more exciting. I feel a bit stalled at the moment, though the story is still good.

Different tge I was expecting (I was think full fledged witch fantasy), very good. I like the main character, shes feisty.

Fun, easy read, nothing complicate, very light hearted, love the mix of regency and modern

I keep coming back to this: a turn of the century story with a hint of Gothic undertones and a mix between League of Extraodary Gentlemen and Ocean's 11. LOL

Very addictive story and a fast read. I like the misfits, League of Extraodary People like vibe. I did think it would have more magic though.

Still rather slow and muted in action

I thought this book was going to be gruff, darkish and action packed. Its... flowery. Unsure my feelings as of right now.

Trigger warning: thos sensitive to animal sacrifice and hurt need to be aware. Difficult scenes.

Very atmospheric, very guilded, detailed, elegant, researched, brilliant...

And... the skimming begins. I really want to love this story, there are some great qualities here, its just so slow and biring. Lots happening with nithing actually happening. No furthering the plot.

Cute, less books then I imagined. Poor girl is ignorant of the world and keeps getting passed around. Would like her to be a stronger characters. Not a bad story, a very fast read, not much excitment, more telling, like the world.

Wonderful descriptions, pretty slow, nothing much has happened. Build up then nothing... need more, grounded in reality but I haven't learned much at all. 3.5 stars right now.
