What is going on???? I freaking loved the first 2 books but I’m barely able to read this. Halfway through and nothing has happened yet. No answers to anything yet. Worse thing, there is barely any Jacks! I hate all the Apollo povs. I already hated the guy I don’t need to read more a out him. Is this book going to disappoint me!! My heart wont take it 😭

I understand why people were annoyed with Apollo and this book. I don’t really care about his povs. I don’t care about his character. I just want Eva and Jacks. The plot of the start of the book was expected (a bit predictable and boring although beautifully written) but I still hope I won’t be disappointed in the end.

Love these short stories - I’m reading them in chronological order alongside all the shadowhunter series so unfortunately have to stop for a while.

Page 10 and I already feel like crying. 😭 I know this book will break me but re-reading it might be bittersweet.

This is so good 😍 It may turn out to be a favourite but let’s see how it ends.

I’ve never read such over-the-top melodramatic book 😆😳 I’m still debating if this is a good thing or not.

This book is wayyyyy too long for my taste… and too many war scenes for my taste…. But I’m going to finish this only to see how it ends properly.

This book might be the death of me, 980 pages long 😆 But if I don’t read it now I’ll forget everything from the previous books 😆

I don’t usually read contemporary but I’ve seen this recommended so much I’m giving it a try.

I tried waiting to get the paperback to read this but I can’t. I’m halfway through within hours of starting it, its so addictive. I feel it will be my fav.

I’m not a fan of the two main characters so far.. but I do like the plot. I hope it gets better because I want to finish it.

Had to pause for two months but now as I switched from audiobook to kindle and its finally getting interesting.

Its quite dark, only the supposed romance is probably my cup of tea but maybe I’ll surprise myself and enjoy it.

Halfway through the book and I literally couldn’t put it down. I only did because I had to sleep. It’s been such a long time when a book excited me so much. Love the writing. Hopefully the ending it will be good.
