Chakrit is a boring character, no depth at all. Ana and Rachel technically have some depth I guess, but not much. Also, it makes no sense how people in this book turn insane, there's nothing lovecraftian about it. Giant spiders and mutants, really.

Half the ensemble is completely unlikable. The other half is not exactly likable, but alright. I need more than an "alright" protagonist if I'm gonna like a story.

Two (nominal) evangelical priests, Julius Leutheuser and Siegfried Leffler, reinterpreted the trinity as the trinity of God, Führer and Volk.

He's stringing unrelated sentences together at times. Makes it hard to know what's up.
