I hate this guy so much, and I hate this girl because she’s an idiot masquerading as a smart girl. I am thisclose to DNFing.

Liam is a bipolar, misogynist, control freak.

This book is wrong on so many levels, all of them obvious. There’s no nuance about it. Wrong, wrong, wrong.

Now this is a proper romance novel...

So that was the most boring sex scene ever (with extremely liberal use of the word “pussy”) and I had to wait til I was 3/4 of the way through the book for it.

So, is the second interlude book supposed to be the one Zachary swiped for Dorian? I feel like it is but I’m not sure. I’m not really sure of too much in this book so far outside of it being very pretty.....

Most certainly not the hit job certain folks have depicted it to be. Woodward is, thus far, exceedingly even handed and fair minded. Which you would expect from a journalist of his caliber.

DNFing at 42%.

This is surprisingly sweet.

I have to shelve this, and it makes me sad. It just didn’t grab me, and while I think the author is certainly skilled, Chloe is insufferable, annoying, and I’m so tired of trying to figure out why Red (who is a doll, btw) is as obsessed with her as he is.

Shelving this for now. I just can’t. It’s so boring, the characters are boring, and the writing is just immature, which is a bad thing, even for YA.

This is pretty good so far...humorous, witty, decent mythology...

This is a slog so far. If it doesn’t improve soon it might wind up in DNF pile.

It is at least making me appreciate the truly great YA that out there, but this def. isn’t one of them.

This author’s writing style is so fucking grating. If I finish this it will most likely be the only books of hers I read.
