I love the interactions between all of the characters but fuck if I don’t know what’s going on or who is even talking half the time.

I know I’m supposed to hate this unequivocally now, but I don’t. It’s still as haphazard as the previous two but there’s something about these three main characters that keeps me coming back.

Just wanted to mention that I'm fully aware of what's going on with Duncan,, and what's been intimated about the content of her books. To be fair, I found all that out after I had already bought and started reading this, not to mention the fact that the supposedly "obvious" anti-Jewish sentiment of this series went right over my head. Choosing to separate art from artist here. It's not like I'm reading Mein Kampf.

I don’t care if Teddy is a mistake. He’s one I’d gladly make a million times over.

So Nina and Hanne are obviously into each other. I’m curious about Hanne though, particularly the part where Bardugo almost seems to imply that she’s trans. Curious to see where this leads.

I do not like Lou very much in this book.
