I can’t anymore. I just can’t. Max is awful and I’m 2/3 through and I can’t imagine another 200 pages of her bullshit. Rhagos seems okay and things started off well enough with the whole lonely god of death thing, but I think he deserves better than Max….or at least someone more complimentary.

I do not DNF this with any joy but I hate Max so much that it’s painful to continue.

Max is a petulant, immature little twat. Literally no idea what Rhagos sees in her.

How can I be halfway through this 600 page book and nothing has happened yet?

Yeah the premise of this is beyond ridiculous and the author had one really questionable anecdote about naked older people that was obviously supposed to be funny but wound up coming off as both ageist and lookist (prob not a word)

DNFing. This is just not for me. Painfully boring, and Ginny I’d do insipidly naive and stupid that I cannot bare another minute of her voice.

I can’t wait til I finish this.
