If you like Desperate Housewives you'll like this book. But I'm losing interest in the drawn out mystery. Also it's getting tiresome have each incident explained from the perspective of 3 characters.

Medieval ZOMBIES?!

I almost abandoned this. But it just made me tear up. And the writing is compelling. It's hard to read about this happening to people. It's challenging to know that even today we would be just as helpless against what these people suffered. I don't look forward to suffering along with the characters of this story - especially knowing how recently this happened and how many suffered this.

I prefer to read unabridged versions of books. I like to know the full version of a story. But hell's bells the things that are written in Gone with the Wind! I'm surprised this book wasn't censored. I believe it to be a great novel. But some of the thinking from that time! This is why I prefer unabridged texts - I want authenticity of the time. But it's still shocking to read.

Rhett had better come back soon. I'm enjoying this book. But Rhett makes it better.
