I finally read all of Jeremiah, finished all of Lamentations, and have read the first four chapters of Ezekiel.

Less than 100 pages and I will have completed the Old Testament. I'm just about to start Jeremiah 32

Took a few days but I'm through with Isaiah and have now read the first chapter of Jeremiah

Earlier today I finished Proverbs and read most of Ecclesiastes, and then just now I finished Ecclesiastes, read all of the Song of Solomon, and have read approximately a third of Isaiah.

I finished Psalms and am most of the way through Proverbs, but I was confused by Proverbs 12:9 which states "He that is despised, and hath a servant, is better than he that honoureth himself, and lacketh bread." Either that's a mistake or I'm seriously interpreting it wrong because later on in Proverbs it is NOT better to be rich and despised than poor and righteous.

Only six incredibly short chapters and I'll be at Proverbs. I think Psalms contains both the shortest and longest chapters in the bible (Psalms 117 has only two verses while Psalms 119 has 176)

I have officially read over half the Bible, which ends on page 321. Two days ago I finished Job and since then am reading Psalms. Vonnie says she thinks I'll really like Proverbs, so I'm excited to get to that next.

Earlier today I finished up Nehemiah and just now I finished Esther and read over half of Job. The last several books had been incredibly dull but thankfully things picked up in Esther. Job is pretty long-winded (most of it seems to be Job "arguing" back and forth with someone), yet somehow it has my complete attention.
