I finished up Matthew and am now at Mark 14. Unfortunately Mark is pretty much just a repeat of Matthew, but it's a lot more interesting than the repeating chapters in the Old Testament.

Less than 200 pages to go. I just finished Matthew 26, which is the chapter where Judas betrays Jesus and Peter denies knowing Jesus in order to avoid execution. I'm enjoying Matthew a lot more than most of the Old Testament; I just hope the rest of the New Testament is as interesting.

Yesterday I finished Joel and read most of Amos, which I just now finished. I'm about to start Obadiah, the first book in the Bible that's actually less than a page long.

I finished up Daniel, which is definitely my favorite book since Job (which was almost 200 pages before Daniel). I read all of Hosea and have also finished the first two out of three chapters of Joel. All books remaining in the Old Testament are under 10 pages long.
