I'm enjoying Summer Light more than I expected. I was disappointed when May decided to get eloped without her friend and aunt being present, but thankfully Martin was smart enough to fly them in for the elopement. Unless your marriage is a secret, I don't understand the concept of excluding your loved ones from the big day. I understand not making a big fuss, but I thought it was silly of May to exclude them.

I honestly don't remember what ever possessed me to buy this book. I'm not saying it's bad, it's somewhat enjoyable, but this is definitely not something I'm interested in so I'm not sure why I bought it.

Thus far NERDS is a pretty cute book. It's a kids' book so I've had to adjust to some of the humor. Unfortunately it's a pretty quick read; I believe I read about 1/3 of it in about 75 minutes. I expect I'll be finished with it either tomorrow or Tuesday or Wednesday.

The mystery has been solved but there's still a little over 100 pages left. I wonder what else Stieg has in store before the book ends.

Man, there are some pretty graphic sex scenes that I was NOT expecting in this book. I'm pretty sure that the movie either skipped those are heavily tamed them down LOL. Rosario Dawson in "Descent" has nothing on Lisbeth Salander!

The more I'm reading about Sweden the less I'm liking the place, yet I'm strangely curious about it as well. I love some of the words they use, even if I don't understand what they mean LOL.

It's a shame that Stieg died eight years ago because based off what I've read thus far, the Millennium series is fascinating. It's a shame he only completed three before dying.

I had a free rental from Red Box last week and considered getting "The Girl" but didn't because I wanted to read the book. It starts pretty slowly (the scenes with Blomkvist flew over my head) but it really picked up once Dragan and Lisbeth were introduced.

There's some decent information in here, but a lot of this was already discussed in Debt Cures.

Getting all this Free Money feels too much like work, and if you're working it ain't really free LOL. But actually he lists some organizations that may help with various things. Going to have to talk with Mom tomorrow about checking one website to see if she can get assistance with one of her prescriptions.

Not really looking forward to reading this but Dad wants me to. I read another of Trudeau's books and it wasn't as boring as I expected, but I'm not sure how much "more" this book is going to really add.

By this time tomorrow, I should have finished the Secret Garden. It's a really cute book and probably the easiest classic to read.
