Experiencing actual anxiety because what if I don't get my Zoyalai endgame tomorrow?

Super creepy but I love it.

Abigail is such a fun character, and I love the notes scattered throughout the book.

This is quite slow, not in a bad way. I think something crazy is going to happen.

"How did you save the blind man?" I asked.
"Apparently they’re not blind," said Nightingale. "They are in fact visually impaired. A very forceful young lady pointed this out to me at some length while we were waiting at the hospital."

I AM SCREAMING because I know the *exact* type of blind person this refers to. Oh my god. I feel like my culture is so seen right now hahaha.

"Seen something?" asked Nightingale, making me jump.

"Jesus Christ," I said.

"Not on this river," said Nightingale. "Not even Blake thought that was possible."

This is hilarious and I'm so glad I'm finally reading it.

Maybe an unpopular opinion but I cannot stand Nezha.

If Ziya doesn't survive this I'm going to start throwing things.

I don't know why but I hurt for him and just want him to be ok.

Also I do not ship Rinezha sorry goodbye.

Also Kitay why is he hurting my heart can't take it.

I have a lot of feelings.

I am going to finish this tonight and it will end me. Terrified of what will happen.

The white people have arrived and absolutely nothing good can come of this.

This entire book is making me anxious.

It's very easy for stories set within schools to feel boring and repetitive. This does not feel that way. I can't put this book down. Everything about it is incredible and I am completely hooked!

It has the perfect balance of violence, pain, and also humour. There are lighter moments and little observations that make this feel real and complex, rather than just a study in misery. It is so very human.

I'm looking for a short to mid length book that I can read in braille, because I don't think my fingers can deal with an overly long book.

I read the Lightning Thief in braille, if that's any kind of indication of the length I'm after.

Suggestions?

Wow. The world building is so good so far. My only regret is that I need to study for a bit before I can read any more.

I've heard there's a toxic af relationship but I'm trying this anyway.

This is so intense and I'm stressed even though I've read it before. I'm saving the last bit as a reward for after a job interview I have today 😂

I don't care that this book has faults, I love it with my entire soul. I am not ready for this second half.

This is a very niche status but honestly one of the saddest things about being blind is that only a small number of books can be bought in hard copy braille. So all of my beautiful signed books are in print...which I can't read. Of course I have audiobooks and ebooks which I treasure, but it would be nice to hold a book in my hands once in a while and even get it signed.

All of the characters are horrible

OMG we have a new POV which I was not expecting!

I love the first third with all my heart but it just gets worse from here.

Well this is absolutely brutal.

Lots of politicking which I like. Also duel pov, though I don't know how the stories intersect yet.

I am delighted to report that I still love it. I like Nina's POV slightly less, but it is still so good.
