I didn't mean to start the book but now I can't stop. A wonderful friend sent it to me knowing I really wanted it and now I can't stop reading it. I love this series!

I swear Jamie is going to kill me. What happens to him towards the end, I was boohooing so much, I couldn't even see right!

It's time to re-read the series in anticipation of Shadowfever. I can't believe the book is FINALLY coming out in January. I've had Shadowfever pre-ordered for so long, I had to update my credit card since it was initially ordered on a now expired card! Talk about waiting a long, long, long time!

I am a historical fiction virgin so I don't have much to compare to but I'm loving this book. Harrison cracks me up and the "ladies" are super fun.

Great start, easy read, it has caught my interest!

Wow, this book was an adventure. It had a few boring pages but for a 960 page book, it was simply amazing. Review coming soon.

I'm going to end two very large books at practically the same time. This book will go down as one of my all time favorites and it is not even over yet.

I cried. I'm such a softie. This is a horror book and I cried. The book is not even over yet, and I cried. I should really invest in the Kleenax company!

oh my, i don't even know where to begin. Jamie, I love Jamie but since I've already made that crystal clear, let me tell how happy I am that Claire decided to stay. I'm always so on edge w/ this book!

Wow, ok so it took me a minute to figure out that 7 years passed but then I got why the author did that. I've had lots of time to read (flying to and from AZ). Crazy twisted characters. Love Sister and Swan, Killer, Josh, Mule and Sheila. Sheila is a tough cookie. Great characters all through the book.

You know what character scares me the most? Roland...twisted little shit! Interesting use of Symbolism with the crushing of the bugs. Roland's dad- quick to crush, swan's stepdad-quick to crush but Josh trying to save the Locust by carrying it out. Of course, I could be reading too deep like always.

OHMY...my dog just scared me half to death! She loves to catch any rodents (or rodent like creature) and we happen to have a mouse in the house (yes I know it rhymes). My dog just jumped up off the couch and went running through the room crashing into the wall. Either there was a mouse she was hot on the trail or my dog needs psychiatric help and quick!

I'm leaving for Scottsdale AZ in the morning. Yes, I have been informed that Ms. Gabaldon lives in Scottsdale but rest assured, that is not my reason for traveling there (unless she happens to have the real life Scot that Jamie was modeled after in her house). I'm not THAT obsessed!................yet! Just kidding!

Today, I tried to come back to reality but w/ no such luck. I want Jamie! He has to be the best male hero out there, hands down! I'm not even through this book and I'd vote for him!

I ALMOST gave up on this book. I found the beginning boring but I stuck w/ it and now I'm happy I did. The characters (especially Sister) have enchanted me. Very well written. I'm a virgin McCammon reader so I'm very pleased so far.

It's official, I have a major crush on an imaginary character & I DON'T CARE! I can live in lala land w/ Jamie if I want to!

Rosalind and Christopher have won me over. I had no expectations w/ this book but it has charmed me. I would consider it more paranormal than historical fiction even though the setting is obviously a long time ago.

So why am I freaking out about starting this book? I think maybe I have such high hopes I don't want to not like it (wow, great sentence writing on my part).

I usually do two books at once but I've decided on the 3 book route and just take longer reading them. I think as long as they are different story types, I'll be fine.

How can I resist, I love paranormal & I have a new fascination with historical fiction! Two of my favorites in one!
