Wow, this book was an adventure. It had a few boring pages but for a 960 page book, it was simply amazing. Review coming soon.

Tears again. Noone told me the "...." was going to die!!! Remember my rule about certain creatures. This sucks! Darn it! Was is the damn box of kleenex.

I cried. I'm such a softie. This is a horror book and I cried. The book is not even over yet, and I cried. I should really invest in the Kleenax company!

Wow, ok so it took me a minute to figure out that 7 years passed but then I got why the author did that. I've had lots of time to read (flying to and from AZ). Crazy twisted characters. Love Sister and Swan, Killer, Josh, Mule and Sheila. Sheila is a tough cookie. Great characters all through the book.

You know what character scares me the most? Roland...twisted little shit! Interesting use of Symbolism with the crushing of the bugs. Roland's dad- quick to crush, swan's stepdad-quick to crush but Josh trying to save the Locust by carrying it out. Of course, I could be reading too deep like always.

I ALMOST gave up on this book. I found the beginning boring but I stuck w/ it and now I'm happy I did. The characters (especially Sister) have enchanted me. Very well written. I'm a virgin McCammon reader so I'm very pleased so far.

slow start. having a hard time getting into it. I like Swan.
