Seriously, it has been a long time since I was this excited about a UF book and this one has just taken top prize. This book will have to do alot of bad to get me to stop loving it. And yes, I'm only halfway through the book.

Ok.. I know... how did I "listen" to half of this audiobook even though I just started. In actuality, I started this audiobook before, didn't really like it. Too much internal dialogue. This series does much better on paper. However, I don't want to waste my audiobooks so I'm going to finish. I do adore Strider and Kaia. I just wish they didn't have so much internal conflict/dialogue.

I don't care if Simon's reasons for no kids is stupid, it his reason. You had sex with him while he was so drunk he didn't know what he was doing. Sure he got into it later but....let's just say if the role was reverse, we wouldn't be calling it seduction. You are going to have to do alot of making up to convince me you are a worthy person.

the narrator for this book is good. if you want this book now but never considered an audiobook, this is a great first audiobook.

Im using my kindle to get on the internet (phone died). Im determined to not pay attention at this conference. it is amazing im employed. bad me.

I cannot begin to tell you how much I am enjoying this book except to say I tried to sneak-listen instead of listening to stuffy boring epidemologists (no offense to any on here.. i'm sure you are the life of the party).

Ohhhh the potential! This book could be sooooo good. grrrr. I want it to be good. I should finish it tonight in my hotel room so we will see.

Ok... all other audiobooks just took a backseat to this one. I can't believe I forgot this one came out today! DUMBASS me. Oh and perfect timing, a long plane ride tomorrow!!! I never thought I'd be so happy to be stuck in a seat for hours.

Peek-a-boo, I found you.... the plot that is! FINALLY the author moved on from describing how nuttier than a fruitcake all the "bad" people are.

I had plenty of time to listen to this one while I was running errands all day. Definitely improved since the beginning. Truthfully, if it wasn't recommended by two GR friends, I would have stopped early on. I'm so glad I didn't.

Ok..how can a book start off so strong and then fizzle. The author has spent way too much time showing the danger to the main characters without moving the plot along. I keep thinking to myself.. "ok, we get it. lots of bad, crazy people out there".. now lets move on!!!

I'm enjoying this overall. Pretty darn spooky. There is something I don't like about Hill's writing but I can't figure out how to describe it (note- I'm not a writer). Ok, I'll give it a shot- Hill seems to say "this is scary" so be scared, instead of describing the scene so we can figure out on our own to be scared. Make sense? Didn't think so. Told you I'm not a writer!!!

I'm such a horribly hypocrite!!! This book has Wither/Divergent world building issues but I so want to ignore them because I like the characters/story. Bad me! Gonna go stand in the corner (and read of course).
