I'm not entirely sure how I feel about this book. Carrie is incredibly likeable, and clever but her sentences sometimes leave something to be desired. Much of this book is told in a talkative and light manner that I think would probably translate to audio very nicely. Reading modifiers like "after I have passed" seems ominous with the knowledge of her recent death. Fisher undoubtedly brought fire and wit to life.

Recently picked this up after planning for a DnD campaign. Impressed with the advice so far. Although I don't think I would particularly like his books just based on their naming conventions, he has a pretty wide net he throws around when talking about storytelling.

Mr. Alanson seems to be fixing a lot of the problems I had with the first novel. Very enjoyable so far.

Having read this years ago, this is just as wonderful as I remember. Very entertaining, funny novel. Moore is brilliant.

I'm quite a bit into this book and haven't been hooked yet.

Despite the unholy amount of run on sentences as well as the non-sensical writing style, this novel is a hoot. It reads like a long manic train of thought story with no brakes. I'm so surprised to read this was published in 1722, that's insanity. Moll Flanders is so radical in sexuality and personality that I can just imagine the censors rolling in their graves to this day.

Just found out that there is a television series for this book so I'm going to try and rush it and get in on the fandom early if its good.

Enjoying this so far although it suffers from "incredibly obvious chekov's gun" syndrome. The audiobook's narration of the main villain's dialogue is maddeningly bad. The delivery is so awful, I need him to die soon or I may pick up a paper copy to read all his lines.

Neat idea, feels a bit like watered down Scalzi for me.

The worlds going to hell in a handbasket. I'm starting to get the feeling that Cormac McCarthy is a registered conservative republican.

In the very beginning of this book but I'm already in love with it. A professor of mine recommended this as one of the great british novels of the last few years and I'm suspecting he was correct.
