This is supposed to be a comedy, and it is, but I am already guessing the resolution. Dumpy Miss Benson becomes fit and attractive after her beetle expedition. The man w PTSD chases her until he becomes normal, too, and they fall in love. We will see.

Fun reading project for our book club, with permission to write in and annotate. Virgil and his daughter Rose are heading for a big reveal, but I’m wondering if there is redemption for son David.

I just realized that the girl in this prequel is (of course) not Katniss from the Hunger Games. In that book, Cololainios Snow is old. But this is a compelling prequel!
