What is going on?!
I'm really enjoying the story at the moment. The writing leaves much to be desired but this is Dan Brown and I can't expect miracles in his fourth book.
His themes have been heavily researched and somehow (I'm not sure yet) has managed to intertwine these with modern issues to make this book potentially relevant.

Very intriguing so far. So far, so good. I don't want to get my hopes up because this is still Dan Brown.
I really, really don't like the other PoV's chapters; I completely ignore them - they're crap. But you can't have everything?!

Give me strength and let's hope for the following things:

1. A different plot structure
2. CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT
3. Anything that makes this book differ from the other 3.
4. Please, please recreate the magic story behind the Da Vinci Code.
5. Just generally better writing...

The story is a bit stilted because the CIA woman is just not helping him and it is just dragging the story.

I mean I'm a 1/4 the way through and I can barely determine what the plot is. ARRRGGGHHGHH!!!

I'm a bit apprehensive about starting this book.
How can this book top the Da Vinci Code?
I don't think it can but I'm still ready.

I'm really enjoying this. It's like a treasure hunt/mystery and it feels so real.

I probably won't be able to read that much as I'm on residential this week. I might read some when I get back depending on how tired I am.

I've always wanted to read this.

Why is Sachs focused on two cases? I don't particularly like her other case and it's hindering the plot of the main case (the Watchmaker).
Deaver has adopted a technique, which I hate! He has used his popular series to introduce a new character from a different series WHICH NEVER WORKS. (Connelly, I'm looking at you.) I really don't like Dance. I don't think she's that special. Get out of here!

The Watchmaker is definitely psychotic.

I've been seriously distracted by binge-watching Castle and reading Destiel fanfic - I have no regrets!

The story sounds really good and very original. The idea of the Watchmaker and Cold Moon freaks me out.

Okay. So I have an idea of who the hit-man is but I have no idea who he was hired by or why. Very interesting!

This book is based in New York but this is the first time it has been focused on Harlem. It's very interesting to learn about US Civil War and civil rights.
I'm currently binge-watching Castle so this book is a little neglected but I still love it.

This is the first time rape (or attempted rape) has been brought up as a crime in the Lincoln Rhyme series.
Currently, it's been dealt with appropriately.

This is really good and really goes in-depth into the subtleties of magic.
It's just that Destiel fanfic is stealing my time.
