Year Four are starting to get into this but there's not that many short stories on space but they are learning lots on Albert Einstein.

Just finished chapter 1 with the class.
George has just found out the house is occupied.
It's taking a while for the class to get into it.

We haven't even finished chapter one yet but there was a spare five minutes so we squished it in :')

I know I've abandoned this because it is too emotional for me at the moment, while I'm on placement but honestly OMG. This book is so magical and imaginative! I feel like I'm in France and Germany. It's stunning.

My class teacher has bought this and we're reading it next week. Yey!
I can't believe that I actually got to choose this book for our space topic!!!!

I keep forgetting that I need to plan lessons from this...

Yeah it's interesting but it's very text heavy but the pictures from NASA are still stunning.

I don't expect children to read it all but I need to in order to see all of the different sections.

We've done the 'Wine of Li Po' to death.
I think we'll do the 'Ship of Bones' next for the figurative language.

Year 4 love this but for me, I don't find it as exciting...

Out of all the books we are reading, this is my least favourite but I still enjoy it (I suppose). I think I'm still scarred from A Level Psychology.

MY CLASS LOVES THIS STORY SO MUCH!

I'm upping this to 5* too...
I've forgotten how much I enjoyed this story when I was their age.

This is getting upped to 5*. I forgot how great this story was.
My class are confident actors and I can't wait for the KS2 performance of this play.

I also get to watch the KS1 performance of The Tempest.

I still love this play as much as I did when I was eleven-years-old.
Just pissed that my class has to perform Macbeth's monologue.

I'm just pretending it's not happening.

I did not realise this was the guy from Monty Python, which has really messed me up. I've only read up to p.55 but we're doing 'The Wine of Li-Po', which is on p.125 so I've read that one as well.

Really good for guided reading.

I haven't made as much progress as I wanted to because I've been tired and I needed music to wait me up but my mam's getting her hair bleached tomorrow so I'm bring my audio book so there will be progress.

My grandma voice is actually horrific.
This book has made me realise how immature my humour is :')

I accidentally did a voice for Grandma, which my class now seems to like.
It actually went well. My first class novel :')

At first, I thought it was just the audiobook experience but it can't be - this book is magical!

I was a little skeptical of this guy's voice at first because I wanted more emotion and more expression but omg it took me 20 minutes to realise this works.

I'm in love with the storytelling of this story. This is perfect for my commute to and from placement.
