My Y6 love this book and I do too.
Its one of my favourite times of the day/week sharing this book with them.

We read the full book (47 pages) of Romeo and Juliet but I can't remember the author etc. so I can't record it but we binge-read it and I need to track it! Will update shortly.

It keeps mentioning farting and bums so it has the amusement factor and my class keep asking when we're going to read it next.
Definitely the book in demand at the moment.

I want to hit Anthony Patch repeatedly.

My class were dying at the farting nurse page.

I can't listen to this on the bus with schoolkids on; it's not actually possible!
So I'm trying to find time for this (and me). I am enjoying it. It just takes a while to listen to this book.

We're still on the prologue but my class loved acting this out.

I actually bought this book (on my Kindle) because of its amount of recommendations and I will continue to read this for the next five years so sorry Goodreads. I've been a fan of Morrison McGill for a while after following his account on Goodreads a while (@Teachertoolkit).

Year 1 - my current goal - being resilient.

The juicy stuff is happening but residential is getting in the way of any reading and days off equals sleeping.

They haven't even been in the same room yet :')

This is going to be my focus read but I only have two days off a week in the next four weeks with two residentials so actually reading this may take me a while.

We can't start the Year Six curriculum until September so we're looking at different ways of applying prior knowledge to unfamiliar situations.
Last week, we booked a holiday to Mexico (as part of our topic.)

This week, we are looking at this. Currently reading Mission 4:8 and 4:17. Definitely will come back to this book. Will be challenging for all.

To be honest, I don't really have loads of time for this and it's not that engaging that I'll make time for it.

On Beautiful and Damned, I'm 36 minutes through part 1 of chapter 3.

I'm disappointed.
I thought I would love this and I don't.

I'll definitely be coming back to this throughout the year.
This is a must-buy for all NQTs! (Such a good present.)
