We decided on this rather than Harry Potter because (UNFORTUNATELY) the language is not allowed in school.
This is my class novel though for potions :)

I start placement tomorrow and so definitely won't be making much progress with books until at least March.
I do have seven preparation days though so it's a possibility that I'll have time.
My audiobook and Macbeth are my priorities now.

All of the characters are so shady. I trust no one. David is definitely not dead but was it consenstual? The auntie is a murderer and the brother is suspicious - what's this got to do with David?

This book sounds awfully predictable. I pray for a big twist.

For placement, I'll be walking for eighty minutes a day and so will be listening to audio books. This is my first.

My new 2017 reading list aims to increase my breadth of reading.
This genre is mystery and it is my first read by Harlan Coben. I'm excited!

I'm actually really intrigued in this.
I really like post-apocalyptic fiction and I really like murder mysteries so it should be a win, win.
Let's just hope the ending doesn't let it down, otherwise, this has the potential to be a great series.

I don't like this first person POV.
The story has barely begun so I can't possibly comment yet.

Supposedly reading is antisocial and supposedly you can't be antisocial during Christmas. So I've made next to no progress.

I've always wanted to read this but for some reason, I haven't.

I'll probably re-read, review and then keep it as currently reading throughout January-February, whilst I teach it.

The page numbers are so confusing: I'm on p. 126 of th manuscript but the actual book is so confusing with its pages.

So there were four murders, I thought there was only three.

Yeah, I like it.
It reminds me of Agatha Christie with the manuscript but hopefully better.
The actual story within a story reminds me of The Silkworm; I really liked that one.

I had to re-read it again because I didn't have the foggiest to what was going on.
Very intriguing but everyone hated her so I have no idea...

Denise Welsh - what the actual hell? I'm going to research her; she's clever. 4.5*
Peter Robinson - THAT IS HOW YOU DO IT!!! I've had a bad spell of shit short stories and this one just restored my faith in the whole genre. I've always wanted to write Robinson; he's the author of DCI Banks. That was so clever and done in one and a half pages. 5*

Adrian McKinty - all over a game of squash. Pretentious arsehole (the character not the author). 1*
James Sallis- the plot was limited and obvious. Why did I waste my time reading this? 1*
Maxim Jakubowski - that actually made me laugh 3*

I LOVE THIS BOOK!!!

It's such a great Christmas present for me as I'm such a Superwholock fan . Happy reading on the train for me.

Walter Mosley - (REMINDS ME OF THAT ICONIC DESTIEL SCENE) - 4.5* So, so good. Loved the futuristic vibe. It made me question my morality.
