A chapter about the love of a father to his daughters and Steven trying to understand his ways needed to be changed that he shouldn't have been so harsh with his daughters that he should slow down to see the good times he could be spending with them. His first daughter was already away at college and his younger daughters were just experiencing their young lives as little girls. He would write Cinderella in this time

Steven now had 3 girls he adopted from China Maria was the newest edition. There was something different about Maria he knew it when he first met her. It was time to add her to the family. When Steven got back home from China he talked to his wife about it, and she was already a few steps ahead she had done the paperwork it just needed his signature. It was difficult adopting her at first but it finally went through.

Steven's second adoption story, Stevey, was what they were naming her. This was quite the surprise for his wife as she read something Steven had written in his Bible. She had been wanting to adopt again. God convinced Steven that he would be adopting again another little girl who was already changing things around him as he was telling the story about how God said it was time for him to adopt again. Great story.

A powerful chapter on the new edition of Steven's family a little chinese girl they adopted, and suddenly became advocates for adoption and have since created an organization for people who wanted to adopt but don't have the funds to do so it helps people not only in the US but also the rest of the world called Show Hope named after their daughter. They have since gone to Washington to talk on the organization.

This includes the prologue and the first chapter. From the beginning of the history of Alcatraz. How the men that were there went through a time that we are just now learning of they actually had good food and got to learn a trade inside the walls of Alcatraz. The history of the planned escapes. The men who passed away trying to escape and those who were caught.

A chapter all about Steven's wide getting a small little tattoo that he fussed and complained about and he wasn't sure how he was going to take it when later on in the chapter he got one himself. He would also bungy jump for the first time. He wanted his kids off his back be a they thought his wife was stronger than him. The tattoo he got symbolized the moment he came together with the man who killed his friends dad.

What a chapter of forgiveness from a friend of Steven's who's Dad was murdered along with his friends who were missionaries from a man in a tribe in Brazil many years ago and now this man was a converted Christian and he was a friend to him. They all came together and shared the stage talking about their testimony every night on tour with Steven and it just goes to show that kind of forgiveness can only come from God

From helping people in jail find our Lord and Savior to going to death row for inmates to come to Jesus. Death though was not finished the next part of the chapter of a shooting that took the lives of a couple of children while they gathered for prayer one morning at the school Steven went to. The last sad part is his friends also losing a daughter to a serious car accident Steven played at her service...so sad...

Steven and the people who were not understanding of him at all Howard stern of all people the most disgusting individual of his time making fun of Steven on his show for being a Christian. Then there is the American music awards with Jimmy Kimmel trying to tell Steven not to Thank God, and when he ended up winning, he did Thank God. Turns out Jimmy was an alter boy and he went against his words. God was Thanked.

Steven and his wife already had 3 kids but they were getting a clear sign from their first born daughter that they were supposed to adopt it came our of nowhere and he already had 2 boys and 1 girl. As a family they were looking at adoption and a baby girl from China if at all possible they were relying on The Lord and if this was what they were supposed to do than it would have to come from his wife... it did...

His wife set up a surprise 30th birthday party for him that was almost an embarrassing moment for him to be in pajamas at a so-called event she was invited to. Steven's ever changing tour schedule was making him miss his kids soccer practice and games and other events but he was finding time waking up early in the morning to go and make these events as these were the only times this would happen.

This chapter was intense so hard to read as Steven was on tour and he was in a spiritual struggle with his wife's health as she had to have a surgery and the new couple of days she was out of the hospital while her mom was helping her with the kids she got on a flight out to join Steven on tour again but she was going through a mental state she couldn't shake until she got help. This was truly The Great Adventure...

Steven breaks down after a concert in which he sees the crowd cheer for him, and he was afraid of embracing it all, as all the glory should go to God. He was wanting to talk to someone his pastor to make sure he was doing the right thing as this was beginning to be a little much for him. His pastor told him that if he wasn't questioning this then he would be worried that this is perfectly normal. He gave it to God.

A chapter on the experience at the Grammy when Steven would win his first award ever. He was trying to stay humbled but there was so much going on and do many stars around them. His wife met Bonny Raite who was sitting behind them when Steven won his first award. They ran into Sting and Bruce Springsteen which wasn't really a great moment for him as his wife made a scene as they were brought forward in a line leaving

This chapter I could clearly see it. It was like a little adventure towards the end. Steven and his wife were now parents of 3 kids. It seemed to happen quickly, and now they were building a house. They were now celebrating their anniversary, and this is where it gets funny. Steven called a limo to take them to dinner and not pick them up. The limo was a dirty kinda of limo, but his wife had a good laugh about it.

Finally getting back to this book. Steven had a realization with his new marriage. It wasn't going to be as easy as he thought it would be. Things were going to be difficult, though his wife was there for him he still had his career and now they were working on their marriage because his mom and dad's marriage now fell apart and he realized so could his. Things were not always going to be easy, they just needed God.

A lot of things I didn't know about Billy Graham how in the past, he spent a lot of time with president's he said at the time he should have done things a little differently. He regrets trying to get involved with them politically and that he should have been doing things spiritually. He spent a lot of time with Nixon and he saw he wasn't the person he thought he knew. He said we shouldn't judge as we are not perfect

Prayer is very important to God without our prayers He cannot move our intentions in Heaven and bring them down to earth. Prayer moves God. We need prayer in our lives he wants to partner with us. In doing so, we fulfill The Father's will for our planet. We are to live a rich devotional life to God to reach those who are unreachable and also to serve in our local churches. Man's will affects God's plan and purpose.

The message here is mainly about Intercession. We have to make sure we are staying in prayer as we do it, which makes it all the way to Heaven as God hears our prayers. Ezekiel in the Bible is a lot like Revelation in taking a look at the Throne Room of God. It talks about The Wheels that the saints turn, gyroscope of glory, and God's Kingdom in motion as it comes to the earth.

Steven was now a father and just when he thought things were getting better they he and his bride had been looking for a new place on the day their previous place they had been living would catch fire while they were out they left the stove on but nobody was home. Steve was trying to make money anywhere he would become a songwriter until it turned around, and he ended up getting signed to Sparrow records.

What a chapter just starting their lives as new parents and they were already burning down their new place, it happened while they were out looking for a new bigger place to live. Steven was trying to make more money trying to become a recording artist but was turned away but was offered money to be a songwriter. He was eventually signed to Sparrow records after someone heard his vocals on a song and signed him.

People were growing by the thousands in belief coming to the crusades that Billy brought to the Soviet Union. There was backlash, but Billy proved it was a good idea to bring Christ into Russia than people were saying. The growth in the crowds was saying a lot.

Wow I wasn't expecting a whole chapter on communism and Billy's fight to bring Christ to a hurting part of the world that needed Christ though the rest of the world didn't believe that there was much belief in God in this part of the world but there was a sign that there was more of a want for belief. The people had been put under an atheistic push, but that was not finding roots as much as Christianity was...

If we see ourselves as saints already seated next to God's Throne, our prayer life will never be the same. God is calling His church to reposition your prayer altar to fully realize your position in Christ, to actually pray the will of God into existence upon the earth. Presenting your arguments to God pleases him. We are not supposed to pray meaningless prayers. We need to engage our hearts in true intersession...

A lot to think about God really pulled me into this one today. Intercessory Prayer is very important. We have the same authority as Jesus when we come into the Throne Room with God to pray. We are supposed to look like Jesus when we come before The Father. He is determined to fill Heaven. We were destined from the beginning to be in His likeness. Our personal destiny is already fixed...

This was the longest chapter that seems was dragged out talking about all the crusades and events that brought people to Jesus and where they all took places and how his movement reached all around the world spreading the message. What it took for all of this to happen it was quite a lengthy task, but they made it happen...

Billy Graham went through a lot before he became the household name we know now before he did his crusades. He humbled himself and was offered a lot of money to bring his events to many places in the world, and he gave more than half of his earnings back to his company to fund these events. Even the money he got from his books went back into his ministry he wanted people to come to Jesus more than he wanted money...

Wow this book has my attention. Billy Graham is a man of God. The honorary Congressional Gold Medal for Ministry, which he received not many people in history have received. The first to receive it was George Washington the first president of the United States. It was a brief look at that moment in time.
