That was a chapter I wasn't expecting to read Dave having been to a psychic once, and they figured out he had his own abilities, but didn't know how to use them. He once moved into a house that was not right there was something definitely something in the house and it bothered him. Big Day Out he had been a part of with the Foo Fighters and after the show he was arrested and taken to jail because of his drinking...

"If they are prophets and have the word of the Lord, let them plead with the Lord Almighty (Jeremiah 27:18) There are hidden intersessors in the church they pray night and day. They pray until God brings their prayer to pass. Breakthrough Prayer is so powerful. The church is returning to Jesus the passion is coming back a renewal and restoration is happening. We need to be bold in prayer it scares the enemy.

God wanted me to come back to Him today. I saw Him move last night He started putting scripture in my spirit and the next chapter I read is on Breakthrough Prayer. This chapter is very straight to the point but you could feel God's heart in it. He wanted me to speak it today. It goes through intercessory prayer and how God is moving His people back to Him. This kind of prayer is prophetic....

This was a chapter I couldn't get into, but it was because of the political scene it created. I'm not into the people who were mentioned. Long story short, Dave got to play in the White House in front of a president and Paul McCartney. Dave was wondering the whole time, "What Am I Doing Here?" He played a Who song which was more out of his comfort zone as he thought he was going to be playing with Paul but was alone.

The chapter where Dave becomes a father to not only 1, not 2, but 3 girls. He thought he would have one boy but ended up with girls. He was saying he didn't know what he would do with a boy. He now had a family something he wanted, and he realized he didn't want to leave his first when he went on tour. It was hard for him at the time. All the other members of the band were having kids as well. This was a new start...

That studio would eventually be used to create their new album There is Nothing Left to Lose Dave mentions it's their best record to date it includes the songs Learn to Fly, Breakout and others. The sound of Nu Metal was going around at that time but Dave wanted a different sound. Back to the sounds of the 70s which he enjoyed. The album would go on to sell 100,000 copies going Platinum in the U.S.

That has to be the longest chapter in the book so far. So much from the start of the Foo Fighters from having the opportunity to play Ozzfest in Korn's absence. They got to meet Pantera and went on a long road trip to try and meet up at their club. They never got in because Dave lost his wallet many miles away at a gas station, and years later was returned to him. They moved into a house and put a studio together...

What a chapter the beginning of what is to become the Foo Fighters and a run-in gig with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. Dave got to play with Tom on Saturday Night Live. He was asked by Tom to be a part of the band but turned it down as Dave would take himself in the direction he knew he wanted to go his first recordings of Foo Fighters song would be his big break. He would always be known as that guy from Nirvana.

What a chapter considering this is Kurt's infamous death Anniversary today. It was really crazy I happened to read this chapter today it was not only Kurt that Dave lost. He also lost his childhood friend he used to spend so many years with playing as a kid. He remembers all the times they spent together. It was then that he would start a new band we know of today...

He mentions spending time in the house the Mansons took people's lives. He swam in the pool at the house. He also mentioned that Nine Inch Nails was recording their second album there...

This was 2 chapters in one. Dave was on the verge of a whole new life with Nirvana. He was seeing a whole new paycheck he was about to see more money than he had ever seen when he was the drummer for his first band Scream. He was also seeing a bigger audience than he had ever seen. Nirvana was selling a lot of albums, and now he had a credit card...

Wow, what a chapter the start of Nirvana was insane the clubs they used to play now with hundreds of people in the crowds, and Kurt
used to lose his cool, smashing sound board equipment. The audience thought it was entertainment, and Dave knew it wasn't. Kurt was genuinely pissed off. With all that going on, they were now selling records. Nevermind was now a gold record. This was just the beginning as he says...

This was only the beginning of Dave's new adventures in being the new drummer of Nirvana. He had just left Scream, and this was the biggest turning point in his life. This was about to become a career. He had made it. He would start with them as they were making their now famous album Nevermind. This was his breakthrough.

Life got a hold of me lately....but it's time to move forward with my reading. Finally finished this chapter after several attempts recently. Long story short this is where Dave has a turning point in his career Scream was coming to an end for him and it was time to move on with his life...NIRVANA was about to happen for him this was only the beginning...

They end up asking Dave to step in and also their bassist a day he wouldn't soon forget. He wondered just before the show if he would ever get to meet Iggy until this moment happens out of nowhere and Dave was a big fan, and he ends up filling in for Iggy's drummer that day. This was Dave's dream coming true or, as he called it, at that point one long vacation.

This book just keeps getting more interesting. Dave really takes you with him as he is telling you the story. It's not like your reading at all. it's like you're there. In this story, he meets Iggy Pop he was playing a gig right before his early in the day. Dave's band at the time Scream was going to play later in the day, so they were there early and Iggy's drummer couldn't play the show...

What a chapter crammed all into one story it would seem how Dave got the chance to live out the Rockstar dream, leaving his home with nothing but a dream in his hands. He got to join his favorite band in the scene, leave the band as he thought it was a mistake joining it. Then turn around and rejoin the band and tour all across the U.S. have an incredible adventure. That story was insane you saw it as it happened..

Dave really focused on becoming who he is today he may have summoned it somehow, but he in his mind knew this is where he needed to go and he knew somehow he would get there if it worked our with the universe. This is a personal chapter where he went within.

This chapter reminds me of the days of my teenage years going to shows seeing bands and discovering a whole new world of music and life. Dave went through the same thing as he was going to see local bands with his so-called relative who helped him discover a scene he had no idea was something he would later be apart of this was just the start of it. Bands that were doing it on their own booking shows around his age..

Interesting facts about the name Joshua in the Old Testament is another form of the Name Jesus. You can read through the books of Joshua and Judges like they were manuals for spiritual warfare. Joshua 10 is the most powerful example of Spiritual Warfare and Intercessory Prayer in the Word. There is no victory apart from the Lord and His Word. The word is our testimony. To testify of God's Power.

The more we know and confess the Word, the more we have victory over the enemy. Ways to use the sword of the Spirit: Allow the Spirit to use The Word as a sword in your own heart first. Quote the word to the enemy and remind him of his defeat. Quote the word to the Lord to affirm His promises. Ask God for a word of direction for the person or situation. Even Jesus used the written Word when he was tempted by satan..

This chapter blew me away, probably my favorite chapter so far. More Weapons from The Throne Room. We have the power to pull down enemy strongholds as we speak The Word of God as it is in us. It's like it's coming not only from our mouth but the Mouth of God as we declare it. As we warfare, it must be based on the Word of God. We use it as a sword against dark powers (Ephesians 6:17)...

The final part of this chapter fascinates me. The Blood of Jesus is His life in sacrifice before The Father. The Blood of Jesus: Saves us, Justifies us before God, Sanctifies us, Reconciles us to God, It has overcoming power, Cleanses us from all sin, Releases New Covenant Power, and it Delivers us from darkness. It will never fail. We need to remind the enemy of The Power of the Blood of Jesus.

The Name of Jesus has all authority in Heaven, earth, and he'll. The Holy Spirit is released when you speak the Name of Jesus. You must have a personal relationship with our Savior, gives you power over darkness. You cannot be compromised or bad things will come against you (Acts 19:11-17). Apart from God we can do nothing...

When we pray in agreement with the will of God, the enemy will give up. Faith and obedience is our man foundation, it crushes all doubt, fear, and darkness. Without faith, you can't please God or take down the enemy. One weapon that you can use against the enemy is the Name of Jesus, His Blood and the Word of God with Faith the enemy can't stand. Resist the enemy, and he will flee (1Peter 5:9)...

This chapter was so powerful, something I been wanting to know more about to keep the enemy away using Weapons from The Throne Room. God gives us every weapon we need for warfare and intercessory authority. We cannot rely on our own reasoning, praying our desires forcing our will, manipulation, deception, and control binding others to ourselves. Our spiritual weapons can pull down strongholds with prophetic prayers..

This chapter is about being a true Prayer Warrior, Ephesians clearly explains it. Take the Mighty razor-sharp Spirit-sword of the spoken Word of God. Pray passionately in the Spirit, as you constantly intercede with every form of prayer at all times. Pray the blessings of God upon all His believers." We are made strong in our weakness. Pray until something happens. Prepare an area for breakthrough, and harvest...

He goes straight from being a kid to all the trouble and accidents he got himself into to the one accident falling off the stage and breaking his leg, still playing the show while he sat on a chair this chapter was so good you don't feel like your reading it your experiencing the story he is telling. After all is said and done, he needed surgery to fix his leg. But he had a Rockstar moment he would never forget...

I really feel The Lord is using this book at the right time for me to read the chapter I read tonight. Forgiveness for those who have done me wrong this really spoke to my spirit it couldn't have come at a better time. The Lord was instructing me to release forgiveness so He can continue a work in me or it will delay. God is doing a new thing. The Lord knows what He's doing.

I found this chapter a little hard to get through...
It wasn't just about one thing but the many ways to pray. Worship, Intersession, Personal Petition, Confession, Forgiveness of Others, Guidance, Warfare, and Bold Declaration. Cause Your every purpose to be fulfilled stood out for me. We were made for His pleasure, not sin. God will win our battles and release His wisdom to maintain victory. He will provide for us.
