as though they were there in the days when the war was happening. Communication was going on down there. There were desks and telephones. One of them rings when the boys were there together then the other there is no answer on one, but the other is a man that tells them to Shhhh...

The action was kicking off they started to witness a lot of different things this was definitely an underground bunker of some sort one of the boys was looking around and saw a face as he got closer to it, it was another picture of Adolf Hitler it scared him because it was so life like especially his eyes. It was then that they witness a ghost it was stone taped this was playing out before them...

Something started to happen once they got through to the new hidden room inside the fireplace. Something was with them, but they didn't know what. They don't believe it was Finley because of the content they saw inside the room. It was German. Adolf Hitler's picture was on the wall as well. Also, a German radio was on a table that mysteriously turned on by itself. It frightened them but turned off seconds later.

The fireplace came up below it there was a secret compartment in there a small elevator which uncle Rufus checked out it wouldn't work without electricity they all got in and and suddenly were taken down immediately was this a fall of the elevator or the spirit dropping it down.

They were all finally in the house and searching around and Boris the dog went in first and as he was searching around he came upon a spot and sat as if there was something catching his attention and Eve noticed they got right to work pulling out the communication board and started getting information. It was Finlay he said he was murdered there that he was below, but where...

The kids went to school, and they were excited all day they were in the library doing some research at lunchtime. When school ended for the day they came back fast on their bikes excited for the night ahead when they came back to the house Eve's uncle's was already packed up so they could start loading everything in for their trip. Now they just had to get there. Everyone couldn't wait to get there.

This chapter was very predictable as the entity or ghost has settled down as he knew what the uncle and the kids were about to do to go in search for him and try to help him so he can rest and so can his daughter. They were now staying with Eve's uncle, and they were still going to school. The ghost also left a message for them in flower saying THANK YOU.

The trip to go see Jane seemed to go by really fast they came to see her, were introduced, and to her green parrot with red wings on the tips and told her what was going on. They had come in contact with her father, who had died in a war with the Germans and they now think it was somewhere in Epping Forest and now they had to find his body so his spirit could rest.

A short little chapter, but finally, the ghost is revealed with one of Uncle Rufus's machines. He had planned to go to Epping Forest to figure this all out himself, but the kids beat him to it. He knew who this ghost was Finlay but before that it came through to TALK TO JANE. Jane was Finlay's daughter an old university lecturer of Rufus's. They were off to see Jane in Hampton Court.

Uncle Ryfus finally admits and shows the kids what he's been up to and why he's doing it. He wasn't too far off from what the kids were doing. He was creating inventions that were going to get in touch with ghosts to bring his wife back somehow in more than just spirit. His inventions were pretty amazing a watch that can record and hear EVP's. A bike that could dematerialize any object why being ridden and reappear.

It turns out Eve's uncle's wasn't so innocent himself. While they were out ghost hunting her uncle sat in his laboratory of sorts inventing things and ways to communicate with ghosts. He had all kinds of different things in his lab. He understands what they kinda went through.

Tom ends up passing away after his fall Omri goes to the funeral and he is handed all of the figurines he collected from his daughter. Omri comes back home to a shelf in his room that his dad built. He saw the figures he had and put them in the cupboard in his room they were in there for 20 minutes by themselves in the dark. Omri didn't want the cupboard with him his dad knew the story he told was true he heard them.

Omri learns of the history and how everything happened back then from his mom while they were at the zoo. How the jewelry box and the key came to be and how it was returned without the jewelry. How someone found it in the yard and returned it to them. All the history from his grandmother and how his mom barely knew her as she passed when she was young and so did her father in a battle...it was all too much for her.

Jessica was alive at least in figurine form and living as though she was in the real life she had. Omri wanted to change the future so he may never have been born all because Jessica stole earrings it could affect his future. He didn't think of this till Patrick told him. Now she was alive in front of them dancing, giving them one of her shows. She was singing and dancing until Omri's brothers came, they hid her fast

WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ok, first the beginning Tom was fixing tiles on the roof of their house when he fell they were now waiting for the ambulance to get there, but all of a sudden, Tom wanted Omri there. He told his daughter to leave them both alone for a bit. Tom needed to talk to Omri. This figure he had just found was not with the others. She looked like Ruby Lou....just different. Who was she....Jessica Charlotte!!!

Omri was so frustrated where things were right now with the burglar he had stolen from Omri's family and it was changing the course of his family's history. Omri forced him and convinced him to take it all back he was going to sell them. This was all so frustrating because he was thinking of Little Bear, Bright Stars, and their baby. He had already caused problems bringing them to life he didn't want to do it again..

He finally opens the cashbox and sees what's inside it's little figurines wrapped in cloth very different characters now coming to life. A police man, a burglar, a woman in curlers, the fourth was a soldier but died in his time so Omri didn't waste time on it. They were wondering where Jenny was she had passed in her time. They had a conversation amongst themselves, catching up they didn't see Omri watching them.

Omri finally asks his dad to go to the bank to get his package. His dad knows what it is now. They wait for a bit for the lady to help them at the bank, and after a while, he gets his package. When he returns home, he can't wait for Patrick he opens the package and sees it again in all its glory. It's the cupboard, and it has the key in an envelope. Omri opens it and gets the key to open the cash box finally...

Eve Tom and Clovis are all back in her uncle's house when they think they are just talking amongst themselves when Eve's uncle's comes walking in and overhears something he never should have heard why everything has been happening to them especially there in his house. They were all playing with a Quija board in the forest in the haunted house. Now her uncle knew and was furious with them and questioning them why.

Now Omri wanted to go get the key that was in the bank he wasnt supposed to take it out until he passed away but he said he had changed his mind. They found Kitsa she had been gone for so long she was hiding away be a now she had kittens. They all went up to see her, and when they did it was Patrick who went first, and he cracked one of the thin boards and came down landing himself in the hospital with a broken arm.

In her time she was in a coma like state so one day that's when she was done away with since they had a hard time waking her from sleep it was because she was living in another time. That was the cause of her going still one day as Tom held her in his hand, and then she was gone. He loved her so much it was devastating when she went.

This part is so fascinating makes you not want to put it down. Tom told his story about who Jenny was. Jenny was Jessica's at first but since she never wanted to go back to her time where she was treated very unfairly she stayed with him for years, even after his wife left him and took their daughter with her. It wasn't until years later that Jen all of a sudden turned very still and turned to plastic again...

Wow I really felt like I was right there with them Omri listening to Tom Towsler tell the story of how he helped Jessica in some ways when she wasn't strong enough at the end of her life and he used to check on her when her son wasn't around. This was all about where the cupboard had first started and what the key did. About the notebook of her history and this journey of how it all began. She had little people, too.

For a young adult story, this book is terrifying. You can see it as it's happening. Eve and her uncle get a visit from the spirit as well, and this one is very scary because it's smashing the dishes, and it's locked them both in the house, they try all the windows and doors they don't open and after it shows itself and then leaves they had had enough and we're going to bed. They tried to call the police but couldn't.

It's so weird how I can see this as it's happening it's keeping me at the edge of my seat. Now something is happening to Clovis. He won't tell his mom he had been doing something he shouldn't have been doing as she said and now the spirit from the board was haunting his family as it kept making the phone ring even unhooked from the wall. They said that shouldn't be happening. Plus there was blood on their floor.

Weird very mixed up chapter knowing how things happened and what happened to Jessica Charlotte and her son and how she wrote the journal Omri was now showing to Patrick after he had come back after so much time from them being separated and living in other cities until Patrick's mom finally drove out for Patrick to see Omri again. But who wrote the last bit at the end, they think it was the thatchers.

The writing looked different this time around as Omri read she wanted Frederick to write about himself and all of his upbringing and how it led up to this point. She was getting older and now she wasn't able to hold a pencil. That's why he took over.

Wow it's all starting to come together. The cupboard Omri has was made by Jessica's son Frederick. She told him to make something to put his thoughts in and all his anger feelings in and lock it up with a key. He had a job making figurines of metal and someone was trying to take over his buisness making them of cheap plastic all his were hand painted which made them very valuable. Kids played with the others, though.

This is another chapter that's all over the place Omri discovers the bottle in the thatch and the names that are on it and he is fascinated by it he wants to know if these people are still alive. It goes back to Jessica's past and she almost goes back to a thought from her past when she was a so called medium pouring lead and interpreting it for herself. Also, she stole the earrings, and they were blaming Charlotte.

Now that was exciting the spirit from the board followed Tom home causing something weird to happen all of a sudden the TV in his living room was getting louder and his dad had been watching it. He thought Tom was messing with it somehow. The neighbors even came over because it was so loud and eventually the cops showed up but Tom's dad showed them it wasn't even plugged in. At this point Tom had unplugged it.
