He asks him again, and a few minutes after he finally starts to get up from where he had been sitting and makes his way to the front door to leave. Who was Ebenezer Krim he didn't seem real as his height scared them a little.

The creepy man on the cover of the book Ebenezer Krim comes to visit and asks for Andrew the dad. He begins to tell them about the fallen grave stones that he said the kids knocked over when they were with Andrew all night. He then starts to get upset, really blaming them. Now this gets Andrew really upset telling Krim he needed to leave now, but he didn't listen...

The father and the kids wanted to figure out the history on their house as they made their way to the library to see if they could find anything about it being haunted. The characters that showed up the first time showed up again for the second time. They were having some kind of short meeting with the kids father.

A family is home when the power goes out and they play a game of scare the next person as bad as you can when there are figures that start showing up and they are very unusual characters a vampire that doesn't like blood, a werewolf who is is scared of himself, a mummy that trips over his own bandages, a man from the Titanic that carries his own head when he opens his mouth sea water comes out. They are family.

The spirit was freed from the man Robert Eves from 1905 he was now promoted to the new principal of the school. In the present the dream was now over everything was going back to normal for Charlie.

This was what Charlie was dreaming of this whole time the principals and some of the teachers were running an evil summoning ritual in one of the classrooms turns out the principal also signed a contract giving himself to the evil one. He was finally defeated after Charlie took him out with something he learned in science class he burned him up.

I think the story lost its way, but this is just the part where all the kids are in bed and they encounter the same thing in their room a presence unseen but felt. They think it could be Mr. Oates messing with them.

I thought this discovery would lead back to the dream Charlie keeps having but to discover the principal is all the same person in the pictures on the wall at the school from back then to now it was Edward P. Oates. They still thought this was very mysterious.

The same dream happens again and again, and each time Charlie gets more information to remember this time, he needed to remember something. He had to remember a name Edward P. Oates, when he saw all the pictures from the school principals throughout the years, one was really old from 1905 and looked really familiar to him. He had to figure this out.

So this ritual happened in a math class that they witnessed but none of them had the class they only had to investigate in the school as only Charlie knew where they should go as he had the dream everytime it gets more intense this time it threw him.

The teacher that had gone missing is the person Charlie thinks was killed because as he awoke, he was at his school and witnessed a ritual going on inside a classroom and one of the shadow hooded guys were telling his that he didn't believe in this kinda thing and that if anyone there says anything about what they
did there, they would be as good as dead. But where was the teacher?

On with the investigation, I believe Charlie is seeing what the man who was bricked up was seeing in his dreams as he is going to bed at night. Now they are searching their house for anything that leads to a bricked up room. This could be where they start. They couldn't find anything at first, and now they are checking behind furniture.

A mysterious call comes in just before the kids were about to order a pizza something Charlie nearly fainted because of the shock it caused him he was given a death threat from a voice over the phone then it went static. Who was it? There had been evidence in the attic and their previous event that happened at the grocery store that someone was killed in their house and wanted help but who was it.

Charlie was getting frustrated after seeing a ghost and a man in the dining room he thought he was the one who was coming in through a window that doesn't open and writing things in his notebook a story he was writing. Now there was a ghost writing stuff as well.

The kids' dad gets home and tosses them each a candy bar. He wants to watch a scary movie He mentioned and that's when the son who is writing the story sees the ghost figure in the dining room and he rushes out of there and now he's wondering how the writing got on the paper if he didn't write it. Charlie, the younger boy, goes into a dream state and is trapped in a concrete box of bricks, and he can't escape.

As they have come to their new house the kids are told by their mother to go to the store near them and get some groceries, and the store owner tells them they bought a haunted house. The kids think he is just trying to scare them but there is one incident already that is a little weird there is writing on one of the kids story that isn't his. Who's writing is it? They explore the attic as well.

Little bit of a slow beginning, but it's a start. The family packed everything from their old house and now are at their new house unpacking a few things. They would sleep the first night there, and in the morning, they had breakfast.

Wow that was a waste of time. What ends up happening is that Shona sees that the person that has the Secret Memory is trying to reveal
its contents and people come from all over the world to witness it they are reporters. As the time goes on the paper parchment ink is timed to fade away with so many distractions that Shona wished her grandma made it happen to delay the unveiling by the time it was shown it was blank.

This story has been so confusing but Shona is in the middle of all this trying to keep the goblet in her possession but that doesn't happen it's taken from her and now its in the wrong hands and it may never be given back to her as it was part of a story written by her dad for the newspapers and now his boss has it and won't give it back.

Shona's father knows something and is keeping the Golden Goblet from her before she finds out what the secret is behind the goblet while he takes the job his boss gave him for more money. While he says he doesn't believe anything, she says I believe he already knows more than what he is saying.

These ghosts don't seem to want to leave Shona alone they want the goblet and her help.

This has to be the weakest book in the series the author at this point of this story doesn't seem like he had a strong idea with this one. Something about a golden goblet holding spirits and Shona is supposed to take charge somehow I'm not understanding the point of this story.

I'm understanding what's going on now Shona is being mentally attacked in her dreams when her grandmother wants to talk to her and the evil creatures want the attention and try to scare her. They think Shona is her grandmother. They tried to attack her but since they are spirits they are not able to attack her with their ghostly weapons. Instead, the weapons tickle her as they go right through her.

Shona's father got what he wanted he just got told to start his own highland news paper as an assignment. This would now give him time for the grandmother. When they went to see her in the hospital, Shona knew she was trying to tell her something.

Kieran goes to work letting them know he needs a couple days off because of a family emergency and it turns out the company is now sold to a man he doesn't like...and that man is in the room.

It happened what Shona already knew what was going to happen happened. Her parents asked her how she knew, and she just said she guessed. She didn't want to say how she really knew it would have been too much. Her care taker found her laying on the floor she indeed have a stroke. The doctor was with her now.

This is the shortest chapter so far. There was a ringing all through the church the bells were ringing but off sink the creatures where now trying to find a way out. Suddenly all the spirits were leaving and disappearing till Shona was the only one left.

What I'm now understanding is that these creatures and people want Shona almost like a clan leader to them a druid witch because her dad was supposed to lead them. She wanted no part of it. She just wanted to go back to her boring world. This wasn't for her she thought not something she was interested in.

So this is all happening because Shona's dad dropped the ball, and now she is seeing all these demon like creatures along with the man who used to run the church she currently stands in. It was now passed down to her about the secret memory. She was now in place of her dad because he didn't listen to her grandmother.
