I saw The Sound of Music last night and now I want to read a historical romance where the governess falls in love with the father. Thankfully there are lots of those out there!

I'm with Rogan on this. Once she told him no, the ball was on her court. SHE should have told him what she wanted, instead of acting all hurt that he took her at her word. You can't have it both ways, Nevada!

I picked up this book from Netgalley without realizing this was the one where the author was targeted by Neo-Nazis! I'm so glad I'm reading it now (so far so good.)

This woman cannot be this clueless!

I know now why this audio is almost 14 hrs with the heroine having diarrhea of the mouth every 5 seconds. I like quirky characters but this is too damn much. If she doesn't restrain herself, I'll switch to print and skim those parts. In audio, they are interminable.

Is this woman nuts? Who the hell dates a doctor and then gets jealous of his patients!!??!!

I'm not keen on heroines that need the guy to make the first move. Just jump him already!

I'm torn about this book. The guy is such a curmudgeon! He seems to 80 instead of in his 30s.

I'm listening to this in a different order - some of Lyra's chapters and the some of Gemma's which is making for an interesting experience.

There's no romance whatsoever and after what she did to him, I don't know they could be end up together.

These two are supposedly friends with benefits but behave like a committed couple!

If it weren't for the quirky heroine, I would have dnfed this. The plot is like a soap opera! The evil cousin, the slotty ex-fiancee, the vengeful ex-boyfriend, the secret father! Baby Jesus!!! And they haven't even had sex!!!!
