Like, a lot has happened in this book, and I mean a lot, but it doesn't feel like 850 pages worth of stuff has happened.

Does that make sense? It's like talking to me for an hour. Sure, it's probably the best hour you've ever spent, but we probably could have done it in 30 minutes.

I think I like Kirby's art much more on FF than on X-Men or Avengers, but I don't know why.

I have crossed the 700-page mark and no one has given me a cookie or balloon.

Sometimes people ask me why I write books. I usually give a flippant response along the lines of, "I need to do something occupy myself when I'm in the backseat of a stranger's car during my commute," but, really, it's because I love to tell stories. And, because even if in just a small way, I can use that passion to do some good in the world.

It amuses me to absolutely no end that they refer to Giant Man (or Goliath) as "High-Pockets." Literally can't not giggle every single time it happens. I don't know why.

Maybe it's because my pops used to wear his pants pulled up to his nipples and it makes me think of that.
