Every year when I was a kid Disney ran an animated nutcracker movie. when the holidays i will still remember that wonderful fantasy with clare, toyland, & the evil that king. Since then there hasn't been a good film version & that's a shame. So I thought I would read the book. And it's quite different. I can see the elements that inspire the film I remember. It's not bad. It's still very charming. It's just different
