This is not a good book. Quite dull in fact, but every time I want to give up they drop a new clue on the mystery. And darn it! Despite the bumpy ride I want to know how this thing ends. I hate it when an "almost good" books hook u!

I dunno what to think about this book. It's nothing like the 1st one which is fine. I like that they didn't just repeat a similar a story. But to read about the project director shuffle thru paperwork and interviews after the events of the 1st book isn't that exciting. It's bearly interesting. The weirdness of what could be a weak mystery unraveling is the only thing that's making me read further at this point.

Just finished the story Loaded. And even though it was a well written tale. It's a horror tale surrounding themes of mass shootings, mental illness, and gun enthusiasts. This was a very difficult read. I really am glad I'm done with this story now.

Oh yeah. The 2nd story in this collection so far is about racial injustice & police brutality. After a movie night with a film as adorable and light hearted as Coco, I really don't want to read & see anything that explores (even in a fictional manner) the crappy parts of America just yet. I want my escapism to last a bit longer tonight. I must have a whimsical book somewhere. bc I really need more whimsy!

Wow! This a surprisingly phenomenal book. Such a great surprise!
