I have enjoyed this section of the story quite a bit but have definitely decided I do not like King as a writer lol. Its going a little off the rails too like why tf would he kill off Nick if that is such a waste then the spies going west plot has been for no fucking reason it’s getting a little annoying and all of that just for the guys to go west to fight after all like 4 of them will be able to take Flagg out

Tsukikaze Kohei is a seriously awesome character and I’m really looking forward to seeing him developed as Musashi takes on the chain and sickle (dope ass weapon)

The Wild Hunt was one of my favorite Hellboy stories yet. So many awesome panels and brought the story into a direction I did not see coming. Arthurian legends are my shit and Hellboy being a descendent and wielding Excalibur is actually the coolest thing I can think of plus he was wearing that dope ass jacket while he pulled it out. I also love his dynamic with Alice. This one was a game changer and amazing!

The Mole is a short prequel where Hellboy has premonitions of the terrible times that are to come, where he becomes demon king. Darkness Calls was a hectic ride where Hellboy is basically just running and fighting for his life against all sorts of shit. Gods and witches fighting all around him, wolves saving him from the undead, etc. there’s almost too much going on, but it’s cool. Koschei fight was the best

Ok so the man in black has finally been introduced and is haunting everyone’s dreams like Freddy Krueger and the old lady playing the guitar is doing the same thing except good. I like that characters are starting to meet each other on their travels. Feels like walking dead season 4

I think King’s prose just isn’t really for me, neither is this genre frankly, but the book is not without charm. Nick is definitely my favorite and I like his perspective most, then Stew. Stew meeting the stranger with the dog just recently has been the best development in a while, he is a very interesting character. Larry is such a bum, didn’t care for the trash can plot, and Franny is pretty good usually

First of all I love the cover of this volume the color is gorgeous. The art in the book itself has also been and it seems like we are getting straight to business here

The Island was loaded with goated moments and dropped a major lore expansion

I fucking love Hellboy he is the greatest character! This took a turn I didn’t really expect in a way that i absolutely love. I really love Roger, getting Lobster Johnson action was dope, and Hellboy is just so awesome. Rogers arc in Being Human is excellent, Conquerer worm was crazy and full of incredible moments, and The Third Wish was super folksy. Looking forward to The Island!

Man it is good to be reading Hellboy again. First story was “right hand of doom”, which was basically a recap of the last volume plus announcing the focus of this volume being on how Hellboy’s right hand is supposedly the key to the apocalypse. Second story was “box full of evil”, which was very strong. Devil locked in a box by st dunstan, gets released, hellboys beats him up, etc plus prince of hell cameo

Story is pretty ass but the art is actually gorgeous

Plot twist made this book way more interesting, definitely the best part so far

Finally, kraven! This is actually good now! Hooray!

Just finished chapter 1- I really like it!!

Basically Sanderson writing an anime style rom com set in his cosmere, featuring tons of stupid tropes and nerdball humor. Yet, I’m still rather enjoying it so far.

This has been so unbelievably good I absolutely love tim sales art and the story is stupidly readable I never want to put it down

Not sure what to make of the story yet it is still early but I am enjoying being back in the cosmere and the excellent narration. Some Sanderson humor moments for sure but I am interested to see where the story goes

This 80s shit is interesting lol comics have definitely gotten better on average but there have been some good stories. The question is a great issue of character development for Peter Parker, the Wolverine run in Germany had some high points, and the hobgoblin/rose backstory were pretty interesting. Overall not nearly as immersive as stuff like the Donny cates I recently read though; I hope the kraven stuff is peak

First annual was ass until spiderman showed up then it got pretty good and it had a pretty good ending

Read first issue and a half of death of the inhumane and it is nuts; black bolt might be 100x more goated than I ever realized and Vox is hands down one of the dopest villain designs I have ever seen

Finished cosmic ghost rider and read Thanos legacy issue- amazing. I absolutely loved comic ghost rider- so crazy, so gorgeously colored, such an awesome story- could be a super goated movie. Felt kind of original Broly-esq to me lol. It was so fire and comic ghost rider is so sick. Thanos legacy was also solid. All of it made me like the Thanos wins run even more

Just read the first two issues of cosmic ghost rider and it is fucking awesome lol I love it, it’s so ridiculous and the art is super colorful

Read through the “Thanos Wins” arc and the Thanos annual issue; so mf sick. First off the art😭‼️ and the story is some real crazy shit. Goated Thanos story. I loved cosmic ghost rider and am excited to read his run next. And silver surfer black showing up was so fire… the whole thing turns out like Cates just making everyone as overpowered as possible and having them duke it out at the end of time

Just finished the 4 part BMO-World. Pretty fun, the writing is quite show accurate and keeps the characters alive. The plot is nothing special but it’s a vessel for unique interactions. Looking forward to what the rest of this books contains

During the first few pages I was like hm idk but by the end of the first chapter I was like wow alright this series has a ton of promise
