As yesterday was Canadian Thanksgiving, I feel I should write an appropriately thankful status.

While Reading The Mad Scientist's Daughter I am thankful to live in a country which allows me to love whomever I want. That others' struggles with racial and sexuality barriers have gifted me the choice to freely love The Beast with all my heart.

It's not perfect, but I am still thankful ♥

I would say that this is ruining my childhood.... but I think my childhood ruined itself.

I'm not thrilled with Wells' writing style so far in this one.

I've always found his writing very simplistic and easy to read before but so far this is very blurred and vague reading, which I don't favour.

Hopefully it slips into better prose or my brain adjusts to it, quickly.
