Pretty cool of the publisher to reach out to me regarding my comment on the poor quality of the paperback.

Getting used to every chapter being from a different first person perspective but the quality of the physical book is really poor. Blurred pages, words shoved too close together so they look like one long one. That's not on the author though.

A lot of first person characters is throwing me for a loop but the short chapters make for quick reading.

Not like the rest of the Heresy series. This one starts with everyone dead! Guess we don't need to read through it to see what happens! I do love the armor battles however, though the Space Marines sure do seem to die easily at the hands of mere humans.

Trying so hard to finish this... I just don't have the drive though.

Strange book.

Still struggling to figure out what exactly is going on...fairly simple read. Not sure about the Indiana Jones part but I can see some James Bond. This reads like a weaker version of Eddie Drood books by Simon Green.

I literally have no idea what's going on- just that it is very fast paced and a lot of people have been killed for no apparent reason...yet.

I've done it! I've become numb to the writing style and can finally enjoy this book.

The writing style is killing me.
