This one feels more Old Testament, Nation of Israel, King David and Absalom type vibe, yah know? I don’t know if I do 🫣😭😂

Man this one is so good. It takes the better writing of Prince Caspian and the stronger Biblical Allegory’s of LWW combining it into one great story.

Some could quarrel ya boy Aslan helps too much with each Island’s trouble, which each seem to be a metaphor for different sins. However, that’s real life, when you face true evil, only true good can overcome

To me it feels more real than LWW imo, like CS figured out what was working in LWW, added more of that and refined some of the unnecessary stuff. That is 40 pages in tho we’ll see!

Loving the book, but have a hard time feeling motivated to read it. Is it a Book about Christ’s heart or a Essay on what the Puritans thought about Christ’s heart? Idk

I will likely finish this by tonight or tmrw, who knows where the Lord may lead me

Good! Not without its issues, and at this point in my walk not life changing. However, all that to say that this book is really good. It’s a peaceful book, more than anything so far it has grown my in peace in my daily walk. I’ll give a full review when done 😩🫵🤟🫡😎🇽🇰

Not great tbh! Most of it is taking scripture out of context or flat out saying that scripture is not saying what it’s saying. There is certainly a space for emotional health within deeply rooted biblical spirituality! However, this book tries to do that in a half-hearted attempt by downgrading the validity of scripture. 2/5 stars
