Ok way more about songwriting than expected
Which admittedly sounds stupid because it’s a book on Christian creating by… a musician.

I like what the metaphors are pointing too, it’s just a lil hard for me to fully get them I guess

Am I reading a fifth Peterson book in a row, yes…

But I loved Wingfeather so much that I wanted to see a non-fiction book from him. I am excited especially to learn more about Christian creating!!!

Whether this book is a very good book or a great book is yet to be seen. But I’m liking where it’s heading right now

Less action, but more internal conflict. That’s really cool, love it

I hate relating books to others, because I feel like that does such a disservice to them, but alas I do it anyways

This book is setting up to a more Harry Potter type storyline, I like it

Bro, this book is good. Better than the first. Been a breath of fresh air reading it in this season of life

Slow week of reading, which really sucks cause I like to consume good stories like these, not remember details every time I read. Sad

I’m not even a third of the way through and this book made me FEEL something. Like Fr Fr. Crazy good stuff so far

Got a lot of loose ends at this point in the book, will be impressed if all of them are addressed and wrapped up. Exciting storyline and amazing imagery

Man it’s straight gas, my man Tozer is a deep thinker, and someone in whom you can feel by their words how true and honest their walk with Christ was

Really great, learning a lot, being reminded of the goodness of God. Didn’t purposefully make this my Lent Book, but man was it timely from the Lord

I HATE IT

By that I mean like every CS Lewis book I’m stuck between how adept he is at making me take a hard look at my life and sin and all that, and HIS UNBELIEVABLY HIGH BROW QUEENS ENGLISH that I struggle to understand at times

However, like always I will likely lean towards the 5 star rating because how much it helps me think.

One of the interesting things that is quite impactful beyond the apologetics is the practical aspect of relational management in evangelism/discipleship.

If you don’t push the relational boundaries, then growth will slow

If you push too far, all progress may be lost, permanently

Gotta say this small sub genre of Apologetics through story is great. Keeps the imagination and intellect stimulated. Looking forward to finishing this soon

Loving it. Informative in a manner that tells a story.

This one elicits the strongest emotions so far. Probably because it’s the last one, and I just got to the part where he brings back the others. However, the foolishness of Narnia and great evil of the ape is quite maddening

Oh man oh man, fantastic story. Beautiful, was a shame I was interrupted by the movement of life otherwise it would have been completed in one sitting

It’s just so different that I’m having a small trouble with it, but the quality of book and story have not dropped at all

It’s has a different feel to other books, I think I like it, but it’s certainly different

Why do I like CS Lewis so much? Idk, but this book will be a 5 star. Jill might be his best character in the whole series, or puddlegum.
