Bakunin is on page 60 of 339 of Range: Why Generalists Triumph in a Specialized World
Very interesting. My instinct has always leaned more towards being a generalist and this book provides me with some hope that that instinct has been right all along.

Bakunin is on page 510 of 878 of Anna Karenina
If I wasn't convinced of Tolstoys greatness before, I am now. This novel really manages to penetrate Russian society in the late 19th century.

So far pretty funny. An entrepeneur hires a navy seal in order to avoid getting trapped by his routine.

Tolstoy has managed to make reading fiction pleasurable once more. I find the world he manages to build enthralling and the characters have a depth (except for Vronsky).

Bakunin is on page 120 of 304 of The Sweet Spot: The Pleasures of Suffering and the Search for Meaning
Underwhelming. He seems to be pointing out the obvious that is to say that meaning comes with suffering and hardship. The best way to to live is to try to have a balance some pleasure with some hardship. Thats how you get a meaningful life.

Bakunin is on page 250 of 526 of Jag, Carl Larsson: En Biografi
Getting a little bored by the famous Swedish painter (and the fact that the writing lacks a certain passion doesn't help either).

Bakunin is on page 220 of 464 of Becoming Steve Jobs: The Evolution of a Reckless Upstart into a Visionary Leader
So far its an alright biography about Steve Jobs although I think that the author could have shortened the bio and focused on Jobs development as a business leader (and innovator). Too much detail.

Bakunin is on page 58 of 314 of Black Box Thinking: Marginal Gains and the Secrets of High Performance
"Blackbox thinking [...] is about the willingness and tenacity to investigage the lessosn that often exist when we fail, but which we rarely exploit" (p.33) So far this book contain some good stories which explain the value of having a scientific mindset, being open about problems and looking for feedback in order to improve future success.

Bakunin is on page 150 of 387 of Here, There and Everywhere: My Life Recording the Music of the Beatles
"John and Paul related to each other as peers. [...]Paul was meticulous and organized: he always carried a notebook around with him, in which he methodically wrote down lyrics and chord changes in his neat handwriting. In contrast, John seemed to live in chaos: he was constantly searching for scarps of paper that he's hurredly scribbles ideas on. (p. 99)
